You're Still In Love

This is an excellent piece of rock music. Well balanced. The guitar riffs are excellent. The gravelly voice gives relief and it is superbly beautiful. It's perfect for that kind of song that has a really good groove. Everything is well orchestrated. Frankly, I say well done and I really liked this title.

Good Old Fashion Rock and Roll

As soon as the vocals kick in, you know you're in for some good old fashion rock n roll. The strong raspy voice blends well with the electric guitars and mood of the song from the beginning all the way to the end. Fun song.

One of the grooviest, good ol' rock song I heard!

From the start, the music goes and keeps going at a fantastic consistency and movement! Reminds me of the older, better (in my opinion) songs that had great musicians like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Prince, and even bands like Nirvana. The guitars have a crunchy classic rock sound that fits perfectly with the song. I can tell the audience enjoys it as well!!

a review

Kick and guitar start the song off, leading into an over used high hat that taps its way through the tune, with occasional breaks to the Kick break. The overall mix feels a bit thin and could use a little judicious EQ work, maybe beef up the guitar line, which could use a little cleaning up in the solo. Also, the bass could use a little tightening up and be brought forward just a little bit. The closing guitar work over the vocals seems a bit unnecessary and not in sync with the singer.

You're Still In Love review

It's been awhile since I reviewed one of your songs since I didn't feel I had anything else I could suggest to you about the music you were asking about. But in thinking about each song is simply that... another song to review. This particular song has a nice sort of groove to it. The lyrics are a bit generic in the writing though, and come off a little dated in the style. You could try rewriting it a bit to see if there could be more of a story in it. If you were to rework this piece, I would also suggest taking out one of the guitar solos and shortening the song to around 3:30 in length. Songs today are a bit shorter and come off much tighter in production. The longer songs are not being looked at by the industry right now. They want shorter songs and lyrics that have every line well thought out and meaningful (no filler lines). I hope you are still writing and will submit something recently written by you. Good luck moving forward.

Bop review

Hey gang here I am doing another review for another number one artist so let's going.this is classic rock tune that really rocks it has the feel of Robert Palmer's bad case of loving you, and the vocalists voice reminds me of Eric Clapton this has a very good rhythm section with the driving bass an drums the guitar his some sick parts and solos going on.im not sure but I think hear a Hammond honkey donk rhythm. This song rocks and needs no more introduction.

Contemporary Rock Style

Grabbed me right from the start! Mixture of rock music with blues patterns. I like the solos of the lead-guitar what´s making the song lively. Powerful drums and accompanying acoustic guitar giving the song a variously touch. John´s unique voice and vocal projection brings really feeling into the song. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. The chorus is the message and make the meaning of the song engaging for me. The instruments are precisely played. Overall good recorded and impressive song.

your song

Hi there John, thanks a lot for sending me your song for review! I like this song, a very classic rock song, it reminds me old stuff too. Your voice is very good for this type of music, really, the guitar riffs are great too, sounding on both channels creating a great stereo field, the guitar solo is very well played too, exactly there where the solo starts I noticed that the Tambourin maybe is a little loud or it has too much hi frequencies, but, just a little remark which does not do anything wrong to the song, the voices effect is very nice too. The lyrics and singing melodies are very nice, ear catchy song, congratulations, many greeting from Germany. Alfredo from King Mabo

Classic blues

Nice bluesy sizzling guitar open up this track. Like the added crowd effect, nice touch. Gives me the feel of watching Roaodhouse. Vocals are nice and smokey. Overall a nice in the pocket blues track.
