I feel you need to work on rising the audio up because it is hard for me to hear the actual words that are in the song. and the song need to be loader for people to feel it i feel the pain in your voice but i need to fell it in my ears as well.

Nice old school slow Bob Seegerish vibe to this latest piece from John Anthony Saucier (cook in a french restaurant?) Very well played with just enough of an old school mid west rock feel to hold your attention. The guitar tone was very nice, the drums, led by a predominant snare were in lock step with the bass and the Piano didn't try to be the lead instrument, but laid the background for the vocals nicely. Nothing over done here, just right.

This is obviously a song written about an offspring. This is generally a very personal kind of song that gets too close to the artist most of the time. Often, it becomes to personal for the general public to relate to. This may be the case here as well. It's in need of a good remix on the levels of the track and the canned applause should be taken out again. Applause on a song that fades at the end becomes more of a distraction than anything else. Let your songs stand up on their own without the canned clapping, if possible. I hope to hear more from you again.

What a heartfelt tribute to Johns Son. I like the whole vibe of the song and overall feel. very meaningful lyrics, with very emotional music. I like the vocals and the raw sound of the recording.

Most songs about family, especially sons and daughters, are very sappy and maudlin ... but not this one! John Anthony Saucier has written a song about his son that has plenty of meat and guts to it. Strong vocal and guitar on this one as well. Saucier is definitely a proud father!

Live productions are hard to do well, but this is works pretty good with a decent balance for a live sound! I love when the drums come in. The reduction down to acoustic guitar and vocal, then add in bass, then back up, keeps your interest in the song so that it does not become boring. Back to the drums; tasteful and not overdone, like the lead guitar, it works well and aides in keeping the interest in the song on the message. Good job!!

I love the lyrics about a father's love for his son and the joy of it all. I was also pleasantly surprised by the live feeling of this song when it first starts and the country vibe of it. The only thing I wish is that the mix was a little better, I had to open up the lyrics to really follow what was being said because the vocals kind of got lost in the music. Other than that, really great track!

John Anthony Saucier has requested that I review his song ' Oh My Son '. This is a heartfelt rock ballad written it would seem in honour of his son's birth/life I am gleanning this through his lyrics and tone of his voice which is full of emotion. The accoustic intro is rapidly switched to electric and the applause echoes the father's praise . It appears to have been written with haste perhaps at the joy of birth and there is a certain feeling of relief running through it. This is a celebratory song and with that in mind it succeeds . The vocals seem a little strained from emotion which is to be expected under the circumstances . This leaves me to say Congratulations John unless of course I am way of the mark and you have written this purely as a song writing commission /exercise that would be a whole other ball game. The drums, acoustic guitar sound and the bass also very good in this arrangement. They all together forcing the music constantly on a higher leve.
