Iconic voice
Listening to you reminds me of Joe Cocker in a good way. Do you have any new songs? I'd like to hear what you've done lately. Please do write some new ones and/or cover some old classics. "What would you do..."

Stringing Me
First John, I like the clean raw voice you have and the honesty in every word you are singing thru out the song. How my of us guys have played the second string so many times can't even count. The instruments all seem to fall in sync with this perfect driven song. Just plain and simple is the way it should be no synthesizers. This a very thorough song and I'm feel I'm on a trip going thru the emotions and feelings being and playing the second string for my girl. John, nice job well done Songedge

Nice track!!
A nice gentle track with a hint of blues. A great husky voice sings a melancholy song of yearning to a pulsing beat. Good sense of swing and good flow to the track. I like these guys and would like to hear more!

Review of second string
Hey John brings us another great beat and tune with his cover of second string , as usual his vocals with that raspy delivery and live performance brings the crowd to its feet and the smooth intersection of his band never misses a beat! Maybe on this tune some added horns might have pushed it all the way to the top, but not taking anything away from the sound of what was delivered! I feel it fits rock a little more than country but then I think all country gets the benefit of the drought with a fiddle thrown in! And it doesn’t hurt to throw in a little sax with the rock? But then his fan base is always keen to respond to what ever he brings and it’s always a pleasure to review his tunes, great job again! Iam sure you folks will agree John is a great performer!

This is a very nice song... From the crowd noise, it must be live. I am putting the singer's voice somewhere between Earl Thomas Conley and Joe Cocker. But, this may not seem very complimentary. They both made a ton of money on their voices. This is a great song. I like the use of the minor chord near the end...

This song is First String all the way ... give it a good listen!
No one, man or woman, likes to play second string or second fiddle. We all want to be up front in our relationships. Canada's John Anthony Saucier makes this point clear in his song "Second String." This is a very nice country-blues song and it gets its point across very well. Give Saucier's song a good listen ... and think about this when you embark on your relationships!
