John i Ray started music in the church at the early age of 15 as a choir member. He represented his State in a music star competition at this early age and took the second possition. At the age of 18, he recorded his first Album "Look at the Nation" And six years later he recorded his second Album "John the Baptist" which was a big succes for him. He later decided to move deeper into the music career by chosing to study music production and sound engineering but could not stop composing, writing and singing songs.
John i Ray today is a sound engineer, a music producer and a sole proprietor of a professional music recording studio in Dallas Texas, United States where he is now based. His newly released album tittled "Life Too Short" is now in stores, signed by Dream Safari.
John i ray has recorded and produced a good number of singers who are now breaking through, and has also shared the stage with super stars like,Marcia Griffiths, Glenn Washington, Lucky Dube and Tanya Stephens.
