Playing music from early beginnings Johnny Hawken started out playing in bands as lead guitarist along with the likes of a young Xavier Rudd and ‘Paper Planes’ Claire Birchall fronting the stage. But now Johnny found his voice. The feel for his own music is enriched in the blues and roots genre, but with a rock taste in light and shade, flowing melodies, and strong guitar overtones.
