Well hello to all my beautiful subscribers, especially those who are new, & my follow musicians. I hope the new year has brought new hopes & dreams to you all. I'm looking forward to getting back to what I love & I believe it's the sole purpose of my being & that's giging & sharing my talent bringing pleasure to my audiences. I love a variety of music but my heart is with Country which have many styles these days. Marion has been busy writing new material so I will be concentrating on putting music to her works. We have a meeting next month with a new producer to guide us hopefully in a newer direction such as maybe more ballads as I think that suits my voice & I feel comfortable with singing. I am looking at one particular song, (it's a true story) of an old gent that I met & Marion wrote it for a new single for radio this year & hopefully an EP or ALBUM to follow which takes time and hard work & as an independent artist in is all self promotion. We will be attending a songwriting conference in April collaborating in a group so let's see what comes out of that, could be very interesting. Marion had some good news with one of her song lyrics, country rock reaching the finals in December 2023, at Tamworth Country Music Festival NSW (Australias equalivent to Nashville USA). Her very first certificate of achievement which she just received recently so we are so excited about that. As you have probably noticed I have up loaded my version of three new cover songs, two of Don Williams & one of Johnny Cash which I hope you are enjoying So till next time I will leave you with this thought "The key to a happy life is good music & positive thinking" Wishing you all good health...cheers Johnny(Shilo)
