Running Home stays true
This is a great positive song about how to find glory to God and finish the race to heaven. Vocals are polished vocals have a great tone. Band is very smooth and very easy to listen too. The great part of this song is you will enjoy regardless of whether you are a Christian or not. Just enjoy and reflect on your run home.

RUNNING HOME
WOW, nice job, Good song, home is always where the heart is. Not over produced. Less is always more in the studio. This song is well written with a great topic. Jonny, the producer did not do your voice justice. It sounds way to thin. Could of put a better mix on it. Just my opinion. Overall nice job

Greetings....this is a pretty good song that you have presented to the world...If I were to recommend something, I would suggest that you try putting your face or the group on the cover photo. Keep in mind that you are a new artist...so people need to see who you are. Hope this helps. KN

the endurance precedes the sprint to the end...
Jonny Jackman brings us Running Home, a casual travelers yarn of life through the years. From the listener's perspective there are a lot of things to admire about this song. It has an energy that maintains both an intensity and a dynamic at the same time. Not an easy task. From a producer's perspective, this song is very close, but not quite there. I hear the stereo image but don't feel the necessary depth that should go with it. The most powerful moments are the chorus' in progression, the weakest are in each verse and ending... The vocals needed a certain amount of reverberation to better match the mood of the instrumentation. Not so much in the chorus, but definitely during the verse. The guitar is a little weak for the level of energy in this song. The ending is of the fall apart variety, but as random as it is suppose to imply, it requires a special amount of coordination to be effective. This ending missed that mark. These are all problems with the mix and the post production. It was definitely tracked well... it just needs some final touches to bring out the shine.

Running Home
A lovely song about forgiveness and the sacrifices of love. The vocalist calls to mind the rich tones and vocal talent of Keith Urban. Beautiful lyrics of insight into the way of love and the ways to live life with joy. A Gathering Song that calls us to remember what is important in life...people not things and running roughshod over others. I really enjoyed listening and would love to hear more! It is a song that carries you to a better place in your heart and mind and makes you want to be a better person. Truly inspired! I can't wait to hear the rest of your album!

Your drum intro is right on, and your lead intro to your words is perfect in timing.
Hi Johnny Jackman, your drum intro is right on, and your lead intro to your words is perfect in timing. The opening line in your song "the hardest thing to give these days is forgiveness, the hardest thing to gain again is trust" these words are powerful and they capture one’s attention to listen. This is a great way to start out a song because this is so relevant for today and you are singing many peoples life song. I had to listen to the words a few times to understand the full message which from what I took away from your song was that "Sacrifice is the only road to conquer the hurt of forgiveness and broken trust, and when a person truly understood this they would be "Running Home". Also, when a person choses to runs home (that place of peace, refuge, and security we find in God) they would enter a silent fight of freedom that is more powerful than using a weapon. This silent fight doesn't have a need for any weapon but the war is won in that sacrifice to respond in a peaceful action “running home” love it. Deep lyrics, great beat & harmonies, a really wonderful job on this song. I like how you end the song by restating the first few lines in your song to emphases the message. Thank you so much for allowing me and opportunity to listen and comment on my take of your song. I really don't think you need to do anything other than send it out for others to be blessed!

Traditional country song with great vocals and awesome guitar
Lyrics tell a great story. Nice mix, great arrangement, excellent vocals similar to Blake Shelton. Nice guitar tracks. Nice background vocals, nice drums. Nice peaceful feeling like old Lyrnrd Skynrd.

Clear and straight forward - very well done!
A clear and straight forward production! I haven't detected any error, all instruments are well balanced and the voice seems to be directly in front of the listener. Well done indeed! I put the volume up during listening, it's fun to listen to this one LOUD. The song as such is conventional but powerful, with a nice instrumental part, a good bridge and an unconventional but strong ending with this magic word TRUST. I don't think one has to be religious to believe that this is the main and real thing. I'm with you.

Thoughts on "Running Home"...
To begin with, the intro is very smooth and appropriate for this song - like a "gate swinging open" to the road home... nice! The music of the song is country with a nice groove and flow - very easy to listen to. The mix of the instruments/vocals is spot on, and the organ is the "frosting on the cake"! The dynamics of the song are excellent, and the drums are just right. The rhythm of this song is captivating and inviting - good tempo. The vocals are warm and they lyrics are thoughtful, and the chorus line is filled with hope for the listeners ears... uplifting words and a good voice to carry them to the finish line. I should add that the lead guitar trailing off the chorus is as good as it gets. This song is most excellent. This is a song that needs to be heard again and again to let the words sink down deeply into the soul. Thanks for writing such a wonderful song! Michael D'Aigle
