About Jose L. Gonzalez

Born in 1978 in Cala San Vicenç (BALEARIC ISLANDS, SPAIN) I made my first steps as guitar player next to some of my close friends as Angel Fuster, Marc Gelabert (Metropolis), Paco Torres (Sterlin) or Helder Pereira.

In 2003 I played with the band "Six Strings Souls" originated in Aberdeen (Scotland, UK) in wich I participated as bassist during the first year of life of that collective, now known under the name of "Tatoo'd Lady".

Back to my roots in Mallorca after few years of personal exodus, we created "THE PJ3 (expired link) in 2005, with the collaboration of some friends as Marc Martorell or Joan Canyelles.

In 2007 I started to work with Arnaud Bazin "Nono" and we gave light to a musical project called "LES MOBYLETTES", band that will reach number 8 in the MYSPACE charts for FOLK-ROCK music in Spain. LES MOBYLETTES will be interviewed several times in radio and magazines and they even toured France. More than 30 gigs, and the participation in 3 festivals as AMAFESTIVAL 09.

In 2010 again in collaboration with Nono, I could established my role as guitarist in a new music project named "SCHANDOO" ((expired link)), again touring France for a few weeks, and then Mallorca giving here more than 25 gigs and again in the TOP 10 World-Reggae Charts SPAIN at REVERBNATION.

From 2010 to 2016 I was co-founder of the Music-Art Collective "Mestizo ART System" in collaboration with Juan Jose "Potajito" and Andreas Frey. We had a very intense music activity, specially organizing music events such as the production of the FIL festival, august 2012 at the "Claustro de St. Domingo" in Pollença, Mallorca.

I currently reside in Pollença, keeping an activity as a musician and eventually also the organization of private or public artistic-musical events, such as the International Music Day, "DIM-Pollença", every 21st of June from 2018. For More Information visit (expired link)
