In April 1999, I was officially diagnosed with MS. Since then I have fought to regain strength enough to sing again. I have been battling symptoms since early 1997 link. extreme fatigue/ muscle weakness/ paralysis & at times loss of voice & vision. It is a daily fight, one wich I will never let beat me. With the help of my husband Peter, preservative/ chemical free food; living in a natural environment ( our Straw Bale home), Faith and a positive attitude, I am gradually gaining strength...my voice is back 100%. :)
Below is a snapshot of my career prior to & after diagnosis.
I was born into a family of performers. My mother entertained troops in England during WWII, and appeared in Pantomines after the war. My father sang all his life, in many venues as a Bass/ Baitone.
Naturally I was thrust onto a stage at the age of 5 - dancing and singing. I won a multitude of awards in talent quests & Eisteddfods during my teenage years in all of my performing passions playing brass, singing and acting.
