About Josie Youngblood

I sang in bar bands for over half of my life. At a very young age I became hooked on "the stage" and quickly adapted to the lifestyle of "sex, drugs & rock & roll" that went hand in hand with being in the limelight. I became a drug addict and an alcoholic in my early teenage years and eventually began spiraling out of control in my late twenty's. It was no longer about the music, it was about being the center of attention in the spotlight. Before I knew it, I became known more for my reputation and less for my music.
After becoming saved, sober and reflecting on my past, it's amazing to me how many times God intervened and literally saved my life. He didn't have to, but He did and He completely transformed me into a new person! Once I realized I had a problem and asked Him to help me, He showed up in an incredible way and pulled me out of all of my addictions! Over the past years, He's moved me from singing in bars to becoming a Worship Leader at my Church and mentoring others about addiction and His Grace! I'm finally back to the place where it's about the music again and ushering people into His Presence on His stage with the gifts He's given me. My whole life I wanted to be famous, but now, I want to live my whole life making Him famous! I pray this music blesses every ear that hears it, God bless you!
