Good groove

Aside from good lyrics that gives God praise and recognizes him as the giver of life, this song is groovy. It has a nice swing thats reminiscent of the mo town days. I like it. Keep up the good work.

I'm Really glad to hear more of this Music. So I'm going to give you 4 stars for your good effort. It's not traditional gospel music. It's more like Gospel pop or Inspiration pop music. But l still Lourd your efforts here. Decent listening song and like able. Thumbs up, keep the good work up. Hdee

For you

Nice job. This song has a definite 70's feel to it. I like the way the background vocals go in and out with your voice. I would of brought out your vocals more to the front. It seems on this site a lot of artists bury the vocal. Bring it out front. Without the lyric we don't have a song. The band is tight.

LIfe

As i sit here and listen to this song , i hear the words to this song, but it sound more like a blues that a inspirational song the back ground needs to be more clearer. it is really muffled, you want the people that you minister to to HEAR EVERY WORD OF YOUR SONG.. YOU ARE ABOUT BUILDING THE KINGDOM. REMEMBER IT NOT ABOUT YOU BUT ABOUT THE KINGDOM. I DO PRAY THAT GOD CONTINUES TO BLESS YOUR MUSIC. BE BLESSED MY FRIEND....

I love you Lord

I really like the lead vocal. The flow of the track is good as well. There are times all through the track where I felt the background vocals could have been leveled higher in the mix. Also a little more clarity with the lyric in both lead and background vocals. Nice guitar solo as well.

You Gave Me Life.

Beautiful! I love the harmonies of this instrumental and the vocalists together. Really special, reminds me of a 70's song I know at the beginning, I just can't recall it though just now. It has a great vibe! Jesus would love it for sure! Sounds like one of the old great songs from The Temptations. My favorite part is the "pam pam pam pammm..."....of the guitar & percussion. The electric guitar instrumental is the best I have heard in a long time! Serious Worship! Lifts me higher when I hear it!

YOU GAVE ME LIFE

You Gave Me Life draws you in with the first note. The lead vocals are spot on for this song, full of emotion and energy. The music is excellent. Great use of prosody. Definitely a song that I would want to listen to again and again.

Thoughts on "You Gave Me Life"...

The opening guitar rhythm is a cool intro with a laid back funky groove... nice indeed. The vocals and melody take me back to the great tunes of the 50's - with a lil Motown thrown in the mix. The sound of the guitar crying takes you right into the back and forth vocals at the beginning. The guy to girl vocals is a nice touch and works well to lead the song forward... The soulful voice of Joyce cuts through the instruments, and draws your attention to the words which are just fun to listen to! The joyful and funky melody makes you want to clap your hands and join in the praise... The bouncy drums and pulsating rhythm is contagious... as the music and voices reach a beautiful crescendo - the lead guitar comes pouring out of the song like a mighty river! That is as good as it gets. This song makes you want to be there to see the band playing their instruments... a groovy song for sure. The ending, takes you back to the beginning, with the guy and girl trading parts - and that is a wonderful thing to hear. This song has soul, and an original sound with many sounds from the past sprinkled in for good measure. I love this song, everything about it. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful jam with everyone. In Christ/Michael D'Aigle
