Born and raise on the westside of Chicago in a area where it’s infected with drug selling,pimping,and gang violence both all intertwined together which they call the side “K-Town”.While it seems like the only way to survive in the streets of Chicago in the early 90s is either by selling dope or trying to go pro to the (expired link) X had bigger plans of taking his dreams further by writing and making songs about his life on melodic beats and talking about everything he witness or experience throughout his younger days of running the dangerous streets of (expired link) was hard for him getting opportunities to show his talents because in this competition you either have to know people to get your foot in the door or you had times when people know that you are (expired link)’t want to take the risk of them making you bigger so they began to overlook his (expired link) one day, JRoc X was involved with a local rap group coming up in Chicago called “Cold Redd” and that’s when he was able to display his talents on a live stage for the first (expired link) that,he took off in 2013 with stage performances when got with another group who was a local band from Chicago,who made a big name for themselves in the South because of the early 90s success playing behind big names like TLC and Usher called “The 17th Floor” . JRoc X always had a passion for music because it was inherited in his family(from the dad,granny,and uncle)listening to different genres of music and wanting to learn how to play instruments like Frankie Blaze so he knew he was destined to make music that would inspire him and hopefully his fans who listens to his crafty storytelling.
