Hoy Llamo a las Rosas Pan (Live)
Song Reviews
An effective live number.
I'm always a bit disappointed with the singing when I listen to spanish/south american singers ; they all sound the same, and this one is no exception. Apart from that my opinion is that we have here a good number, with convincing lyrics and attitude. the simple chords at the beginning introduce a well-written track ; then the percussion and the second guitar come along nicely. I also like the electric guitar appearance, first with a solo, and then staying for more add-ons. And when the song ends, you almost wish it was longer, because it is catchy but could have included a bridge or a middle-eight. Good song, then, a no-thrills number, and a live one, which is courageous ! Go on like that, dude !

Juanfra Cordero -- Hoy Llamo a las Rosas Pan
Juanfran Corero is a Spanish singer songwriter. This track is in Spanish and features some emotive singing and excellent guitar work The track was recorded live. It is a song from the album "Nadie agradece nada" recorded live back in March 2016 in an old sacristy converted into an acoustic concert venue. Juanfra's fine rhythm acoustic guitar playing (he is Spanish after all !) is backed with some decent brush work by the drummer and electric guitar flourishes that augments the overall sound .

Hoy Liamo a las Rosas Pan
the track has a good feel if there were an English version I would like to hear that good chord choice and passion in the vocal delivery nice touch with the acoustic and electric guitars

Juanfra's Review
I am captivated by the use of the chord progressions,(wish I would have came up with them!!)The sound reminds me of many artists BUT no artist in particular !! Distinctly original and that is what draws me in. I wish I knew the language because I think it might be a song I would do a cover version of !Keep writing and bringing the same level of creativity !!

Cool
This is awesome it reminded me of all the Cheech and Chong movies... Good stuff.. try throwing a little English in every now and then and it could have the potential to reach maybe even more audiences than normal.. but good job real nice sound. Dig it man..

Acoustic Romp
Juanfra plays a powerful, driven and passionate acoustic rock song, in Spanish, of course. At times you’re driven almost hypnotically by his ever present voice, occasionally thinking the song might be all the better if there was a contrasting piece of music in there. All in all love GE this no-nonsense style of passion mate acoustic music sic.

Nice guitar Rhythm... wish I understood Spanish
The rawness of the track appeals to me. I like the choppiness of the acoustic and the cutting solo of the lead guitar. Your vocals remind me a little of Dylan in the timbre but something about the phrasing reminds me of Greg Brown. Good energy Juanfra. Appreciative audience! :)

THE GUITAR & THE VOICE

Entertaining
Nice recording that captures a live performance of a singer songwriter and although I could not understand the words the music and performance is strong enough to convey the emotions the artist wants the audience to connect to. Guitar playing is spot on and the vocals are pitch perfect with a good arrangement of the verse and chorus ratio to the song.

Live and with passion
A very live song is always nice to hear. I can hear passionate playing and singing. The song is well structured and effectively delivered. Nice work. A good album track. I would like to hear how it would sound with a full arrangement and produced in studio as well.
