guitar from the 70's
When I say "from the 70's" I talk about wishbone ash. It seems to be some year earlier. Good, good music...the only One I know is the 70's. And you are the group stuck in the middle of these years. I DO LOVE!!!!! Bravo^^

My friend Juergen would love it
My friend Juergen is a blues rock addict all over. He loves ZZ Top, Mr Schuffert, SRV and so on. This song would make it right into his personal top 10. I myself love the wahwah guitars which remind me on my all time idols Wishbone Ash. Then there's another part for Lynyrd Skynyrd fans in there as well. A lot of damn good guitar work in this song. Whether this mixture of parts and styles in just one song, especially in a studio version, is a good decision I can't really judge, but I bet you're doing an awesome live performance with this one. Thumbs up, Bombers!

Very Good But Doesn't Stand out
This song is very well done and could fit nicely into the soundtrack of a road movie or biker turned cowboy flick, but it doesn't stand out from any number of records that came out in the early 1970's. I would give it more of a bass line and bring the kick up to the level of the snare, providing more of a groove tension. Maybe some more reverb on the lead vocal and bring down the rhythm slightly, allow the vox and the lead to sit on top a little better.

Great Work
Rockin' tune and a great band name! This was a very tight performance. The vocal harmonies were well placed to give an added interest and bring out the lead vocal and emphasize the lyric. the general riff helped set the feel of the song. The wah guitar worked well with this song and is something you don't hear much anymore in this context. The song is a great combination of Southern Rock and Blues. The middle breakdown was carefully crafted to draw you into the rest of the song. The duelling/combining guitar solo bits worked quite well and then when they hit the same notes in opposite speakers that was the icing on the cake. Great work!

Last Rdie Rocks!
Like the opening riff and groove that maintains a hard sound without losing any drive despite the slower groove . Chord changes go in interesting and unexpected direction with several interludes and a change up in the end reminiscent of the 70's style of writing. Back up vocals work well together. Nice sound!

review of Last Ride
the song started out with the first few bars interesting and then went Bland too long there are no highlights to keep you interested and way too long before I change when the song did finally change Tempo and direction they are again started out good and then the same thing nothing special the the two guitars mimicking Allman Brothers is fine as long as you add something special not just the same basic two or harmonizing sections had something special and it'll be great

Keep On Riding that "Last Ride"
Good lyrics and punchy groove. There seems to be more to these Bombers than meets the eye. Their live shows must be very high energy and their audience must be dancing their collective asses off. It's The Outlaws meet the Doobie Brothers with a splash of Floyd thrown in for good measure. Ride on guys.

Not the "Last Ride" I'll take with Jukehouse Bombers
If my travelling ears were the target, Jukehouse Bombers launched and landed a direct hit with "Last Ride." Seconds after the drums kicked in, I cranked the volume and felt like my wheels suddenly grew wings. This tune kicks it spot on into a Classic Rock, touch of Blues hard driving groove, builds and stays with it with great drumming. The guitar chops are very killer, a touch loud in the mix perhaps, not out of line to any degree, especially with the aggressive high energy raspy vocals. Decent lyrics, the hook's no razor but it doesn't to be and isn't missed. The bass player excels and really caught me, such players are few and far between these days - his/her lines are true to the influential styles involved, clearly understands the instrument and where it belongs in this band's approach. It's truly refreshing for me to hear rock solid bass runs without slaps, pops, overplaying or landing where they don't belong - sadly I often fear such technique is becoming a lost art. Kudos to Jukehouse Bombers and "Last Ride" - Please keep bringing it to the light!

Last Ride Review
Hi Jukehouse Bombers, Thanks to submit your song "Last Ride" on review. First it' just my opinion. 1 / Mix and Production : The Mix is well balanced. 2 / Music : It's the good good point. It's bluesy rock on fire. Good sound on guitars. Bass and drums are in place. Good solos. 3 / Vocal : For me the voice lacks of implication. I want to say "of soul". Sometimes the singing is a little false. The harmony vocals are a little poor. The backvocals are a little false. 4 / Overall : Good Music like rock blues of 70's but for me there is a work to do on voices. But good job on music. the riff is catchy. Good Job and good luck.
