About JULIO VALLIM

Julio Vallim is a gaucho guitarist, born in Porto Alegre, and who brings in his essence the erudite music, the chorinho, the blues and the heavy metal; Tempered with its Brazilian musicality.

With 22 years of his career, he has a degree in music theory at the Instituto Cordas e Cordas (RS) and specialization courses at Souza Lima and EMT (SP). He teaches guitar, guitar and music theory since 1996.

Julio Vallim has traveled through different tracks of music, playing in rap, rock, blues and funk bands, but it was with his former band, Undertaker, that he followed the paths of heavy metal and was chosen by Multisom stores as one of the best Heavy guitarists Metal of RS, having a song of yours recorded by the musical instrument store on CD "Multirock".

With an established career in the south of the country, was chosen "Best guitarist" at the Festival of Southern Universities, obtaining a maximum in performance and originality. With the end of the band Undertaker, he continued his solo career, where he presents his instrumental music full of his Peculiarities and influences, mixing classical music with rock, based on the great masters Bethoveen and Bach.

At the moment, it is in the process of recording its first instrumental CD, titled "Universal Compilation", where it puts its versions for classic classics, popular and own songs. Júlio Vallim also composes tracks for commercials and recordings for other musicians, and is columnist of Internet music sites such as Sacra Music ((expired link)) and Guitar Coast.
