About Jusray

JusRay aka Raymond Halfon was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, developing a southern love for music, until suddenly his life would change when at 14 his dad got shot and killed at his liquor store off West Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta. He would never let it bother him, instead he made it motivate him to chase his dreams at a younger age. Shortly after that he moved in with his grandma helping him through his pain of losing his dad. After a year and a half she suddenly became very sick and passes away (remember seeing this with my own eyes it hurts but I gotta move on, gotta reach my dreams, all for them, I feel I owe them this at least) at 16 still in high school living by himself felt the only way to get away from life was music he then started rapping everyday creating songs then shortly after that creating beats. Developing his style was his next step on becoming a complete all around rapper. "Music's my way out," says JusRay. Since age 16 music has been my therapy towards life cause counseling wasn't an option. Being hard headed made in counters with the law a more traumatic experience it had him really realize he never wanted to be locked up again cause freedom is a gift and it took for him to be locked up to realize that so starting from strach would only make me a better person at 23 hes still fighting for chance at success to live the American dream how we living ..
