Justin grew up in Opelika, Alabama listening to all types of music that molded his craft. He concluded that the world isn’t looking for the next George Strait, Garth Brooks, or Josh Turner, although those are his inspirations. He reminded himself of the moment in his life when he realized lack of learning will get your wheels spinning in the wrong direction. Justin said, “I can’t do any better than being me. No matter how hard you try to be someone else, it’ll never happen. Just be the best you that you can be.” He writes his music with his fans best interest at heart. As he plays his guitar, the essence of his vocals, sound, and style electrocutes an emotional button dwelling within a person who walked along a similar road needing to unleash their inner most feelings.

Justin Blake was raised by his single mother who worked very hard to teach him to be a well-rounded citizen with values and respect for women. He faced everyday troubles by the tender age of eight while watching his mother do it all. He became confused, not knowing where his life was heading. Where should he go? Where does he begin? Later he was introduced to music by his mother’s boyfriend who played the guitar. This led to his escape from reality and to a path full of happiness. His driving ambition begun to develop when he noticed how people’s attitudes changed after hearing songs on the radio of songwriters expressing their deepest experiences from their own private world. Justin was motivated to not only tell his story, but stories of so many others that have crossed his pathways. He believes that one cannot move forward until one faces their own self. His helpful nature expressed through his creative works might just be the striving force to uplift an individual—one at a time.
