Hi All, Welcome and thanks for subscribing to my N1M page. A little about myself; I am an independent country artist based in the central west city of Orange in New South Wales, Australia. I like all types of music but my favorite type of music is Country. I have been in the music industry for 22 years in various set-ups. Starting in an alternate rock band as a young fellow and then progressing into a duo (called Guess What) with the lead guitarist from the rock band of which we spent 18 years together performing covers of a range of music all over NSW. In 2014, I decided to go solo and go back to the music I love the most, Country. Later that year I lost my beloved sister and her daughter (my niece) in a tragic car accident (my niece was learning to drive). My sister, Kelly, was my No:1 fan and she used to always tell me that I should write my own material and release an album. I wish I had of done that while she was still here but, none the less, I have finally completed and released my self produced and recorded debut album of which I dedicated to her and my niece titled "None But Ned". Where does the name come from I hear you ask??? Ned is my nickname. It was bestowed upon me by my mates from a young age. Names for everything and everyone in Australia is always shortened. Most nicknames usually have an "a" or an "o" added to the end as well. lol. My nickname come from typical Aussie rhyming slang.... Justin Landers = Ned Flanders, from the cartoon The Simpsons which is very popular here in Aussie land. So, I decided to call my first album None But Ned. There's a couple of reasons for this; 1. Because I am well known in my local area as "Ned". 2. Because I am well known as being part of the popular duo "Guess What" for so long. So, "None But Ned" simply means that it is just me, on my own.
