About Justin Piper
Justin Piper currently resides north of Boston where he teaches, composes and performs. He is the musical director for the band Ripcord, and also leads his own group, the Justin Piper Group, who perform improvisation based music and his own compositions , often on 8-string guitar.
Justin also performs solo regularly, playing 20th century classical music and instrumental arrangements of popular music. His musical interests have led him into a love of Eastern music, thus studying both the Oud and the Sarod.
His philosophy as a teacher and educator is to instill his students with the joy of playing music while also nurturing an interest in the theoretical aspects of music.

He also has extensive classical guitar studies under Adam Levin, who's pedagogy is one generation removed from Andres Segovia. Justin has played for and with: Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Rose, Joe , and Matthew Kennedy, Jay Leno, Martha Stewart, Diana Ross, Ben E. King, Jim Belushi, Cheryl Hines and others.
