Kaddyville was born to sing, and reggae music is his driving passion.
This unusual name was given to him by childhood friends. Kaddyville was born Terrence Gray in the Guys Hill area of St. Catherine, Jamaica. He is genetically connected to melodies and harmonies as his mother was a part of the musical ministry at her church in the mystical hilly Jamaican countryside. All her kids were required to sing at church whether they liked it or not. As it turned out, Kaddyville loved singing immensely, and thanks to that early push, he is now making waves in the New York tri-state region as a singer, as a reggae rapper and as a songwriter.
During his high school years, Kaddyville’s love for music continued to grow beyond church music. At Guys Hill High School, his alma mater, he began to embrace other forms of music, most notably reggae, R & B and pop. But reggae was dominant. His idols were Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Michael Jackson and R. Kelly. At that point he knew for sure that he wanted a career with a big stage, flashing lights, screaming fans and awe-inspiring performances.
After a brief stint of working and studying in Kingston, Kaddyville soon migrated to New York City. His
