Introducing The EnginEAR
Anton Blackman was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago before successfully pursuing a degree in Structural Engineering at Howard University, Washington DC in 2001. He returned to his homeland in the summer of ’05 with a new appreciation for its natural beauty and culture.
Reunited with his roots, in 2006 he began pursuing his professional career in engineering, as well as his childhood passion for Hip-Hop, and gave birth to the lyrical engine in your ear - enginEAR.
After 6 years of writing songs and performing at various open mic locations, The Enginear has perfected his style to better represent who he really is. His seamless blend of Hip-Hop and Kaiso is now poised to become the new sound to represent Trinidad. His album “KaiFlo” features Da Face and has set a standard on which The Enginear is set to “build” a strong career.
