I was born in Wevelgem on the fourth of April in 1966 . I was the third child of a family of 5 children . After elementary school I went to the Sint-Aloysius high school in Menen, the town next to my village Rekkem where I grew up . During elementary school I followed music lessons every Wednesday afternoon in that school : I learned to play the recorder and read musical notes the old-fashioned way . During High School, we also had one music lesson weekly, also with the recorder, plus we listened to a lot of Classic Music pieces . After that, I didn't do anything anymore with that music education, until, one decade later, I met a new friend in Ghent who taught me my first chords on a folk guitar . And these chords were capital letters : A, E, D and G were my first ones . (A = la, E = mi, D = re and G = sol) . That must have been in the year 1999 .
