God Sees
Hello Karen O'Brien, I hope your day is treating you well so far. I just took a listen to your track "God Sees" and I was pleasantly surprised to press play and hear the country music start to play. I think you have a lovely voice and I think the song is really nice, I just think your engineer needs to check the levels before you release your tracks because your levels are peaking in the red. When something like that happens it makes it hard to understand what you are saying when you turn the volume up it makes your words muffled. Other than that it is a good track.

God Sees
A Rockabilly Sound with a Celtic Country vibe. You have an sweet anointing in your voice which is a quality that is essential to Christian music. I love the way this song makes me feel and lifts me up to higher places with Jesus. Just hearing the words of knowing He sees me and He watches over me in all my comings and goings changes he atmosphere around me to faithful trust in His Promises to me. This music reminds me of a countrified celtic band with the strings predominant in the instrumental. I love the percussion that keeps us in step and the listener to keep track of the words. I look forward to hearing your album! You certainly have what it takes to make many hits in the charts a reality. I think if you found a Hammer Dulcimer or Harpist and a Celtic piper you would really take off with the next song. Ask and you shall receive, they will find you!

'God Sees' by Karen O'Brien
Sincerity is one of the hallmarks of Karen O'Brien's "God Sees" , She commands great respect vocally and her voice is a pleasure to listen to. She could sing the phone book and succeed, but she actually has much content that is meaningful and timely. I love the Cocteau Twins-like backup vocals, but I would love to hear her voice less obscured by effects, (even if nicely done!) Karen; Write a voice forward super sincere song for all of us; and feature your voice naked a la Cowboy Junkies; Just you, guitar, a little reverb and the truth. You'll certainly succeed! Good luck and I have great hopes for you! PS..Submit a few of your tunes to my pal Dave Tick at newenglandradio (look them up on facebook WIRW ) Bet he will be happy to give you some US airplay. Alegre
Cheerful song for this style of music. Positive letter about the presence of God in our lives. Song well sung and well performed, the recording is quite good with all the instruments compensated. I like both the lyrics and the music because of its positivism.

Very sweet soothing voice...
Such a Very sweet, soothing voice... This is about as sincere as it gets... I can share that I would like to hear the music build the dynamics and be as supportive of your vocal dynamics as it can possibly be... Nice Job Thanks for sharing your Music :-)

A nice tune bout a great topic instruments do a good job of blending in with some nice vocals I would have liked a little clearer vocal with maybe a litle harmony thrown in to help the delivery of the message, the strings were good and I would recommend you take a listen because God does see and is watching what you do, so beware . Enjoy this tune and take a listen my friends its on the list as a rising tune. .

Peppy tune
Uptempo, peppy tune with a cool opening riff. Very melodic tune for the Christian market. Reminds me of "I fell in love" by Carlene Carter in the vibe and drumbeat. Very 80's sound which evokes big hair and colorful outfits. Catchy and enjoyable in a quirky way. Good length and would work on a traditional christian show. Make religion fun I say. The mix and arrangement didn't get in the way and were solid. Thanks for the song and best wishes!

God Sees
Hi Karen. I can tell that you have a wonderful relationship with Father God; keep it up girl. :) You have a great song there girl, and your vocals are mixed good with the music; I can hear your words. You have a very nice voice, but you seem to have the same affliction that I have; a bit of a weak voice. Maybe go swimming to increase the air capacity in your lungs. Love the message that you present. Great progression and mix of instruments to match your message. He does see us, and does everything that you sing about. I pray that there will be a ton of opportunities presented to you, to sing this message to folks. Blessings, Trev :)

Very commercial sound. The only thing I would change is take some of the effect off of the lead vocal. You have a commercial sound. Let people hear the natural sound. Bring back the lead a little bit to blend in with the track IF taking the effects back does not do the trick. Great job!

good feel
the beat is simple and not to complicated but the lyrics are much more complexed and the content is meaningful and i live the song topic. this deserves to be in a book of hymns. very enlightening and inspirational. you can tell your a believer by the lyrics and how self explanatory they are. the song was great and is most definitely not a club hit but a classic if you ask me. God Bless

Outstanding song and impressive composition
Great songs starts off with a rhythmic and engaging tune like this one. I feel compelled to listen this song over and over. The first impression is that this recording begins like a country song with a groovy rock & roll beat. I like the melodic bass lines, which is still concentrate on the base drum. The lovely passion of the lyrics comes from the heart and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Karen O´Brien sings with a kind of sweet childish voice and a soft vocal projection. The refrain is impressive and brings us closer to our deepest feelings about live and beleave in god. All the way from stanza over the chorus are accompained of brilliant acoustic-guitar sound and the perfect played lead-guitar. That´s not simple especially in the fills and is a extra factor in this arrangemend. Mixing and mastering is perfect in appropriation of different music styles and versatile instrumentation. Additionally orchestrated melodies on a virtuos steal-guitar in the backround carries the recording. Ambitious arrangement from Karen O´Brien, who wrote the lyrics and established with this recording also a fresh compostion style. She managed it to create an exceptional sounding track. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Nice young voice!
Hello! I like very much the voice of the singer! An almost childish voice which gives a lot of freshness to this song... The composition in itself is extremely classic: it is not disagreeable but it is lacking originality ... Fortunately, there is this charming voice !!! The set(group) adorned me recorded well; we can quite well hear, even on a small laptop PC, provide tiny loudspeakers It is not the music style which I usually listen to, but it remains pleasant to listen to.
Bouncy and Delicate!
Fun and bouncy song! The vocals sound sweet and clear but very hot in the mix, also sounds like a lot of pitch correction or phasing effect on the vocals that is a bit distracting. Would love to hear this song live. Great vibe and feel. I would not call this a "country" song, definitely Pop and New Age though. Kudos!

God Sees
This is one more amazing production for a very cheerful song, with a contagious rhythm that impels us to dance. I think it's really a song that should be in the top of Pop music of Number One Music. I also really liked the other themes available on the page, like I said before. I think is on the right way, and in terms of music production is really, really well done and I have to congratulate you on it again. I'm waiting for new themes, with the same quality. Best wishes !! Review of your song
Hi Karen, I really enjoyed listening to your song. The music kind of reminds me of the old school 50/60s rock n roll. I think it's probably the drums that give it that feel. Your vocals are excellent. Your pitch and tonal quality are spot on. I'm listening on an iPad so it may get sond different on big speakers....I thought maybe the vocals were a wee bit loud...like I said, could be my speakers. Overall, I believe you have a good, solid recording and wish you he very best!
