Karpintero is a fusion of different types of genres, blend in together to make a unique and distinct sound. With a positive message to the world, our 1# purpose is to restore lives through music. Soon In January 2004, was the start of the band under the name "Asuntos Internos"(Internal Affairs) thanks to the dream of two siblings in the city of Philadelphia in the United States. In 2006 they discovered that there was already a band with that name in Spain then, Luis the founder (director) of the group came up with the idea of calling the band "Karpintero" in reference to the trade held by Yahshua and his father in his upbringing . Today those who are in front of this band are the spouses Luis and Sheila Reyes. Luis as a composer and musician of this band and Sheila as the lead vocalist, their greatest passion is to bring a positive message to the people through a fusion of different genres in music. The outstanding instruments are acoustic guitar and percussion, giving his music a real and rustic style with influences of different sounds of mixed tropical rhythms. Luis A. Reyes, founder of the band Karpintero is also a composer and arranger of his original songs and is distinguished by the peculiarity of the lyrics of his songs. His arrangements has an unpredictable way of showcasing the mixing of different rhythms like rock, reggae, the novatrova (typical music of Puerto Rico) among other rhythms . His wife Sheila stands out for the strength and clarity of her voice and the energy and charisma that she brings to the stage. The two share the same dream and passion for music, motivating them to give the Heavenly Father and their audience excellence in everything they do. In 2013 they launched their first music single "Limonada" from their first production entitled "Alabanza Rustica."
