My love for singing started at the age of 12 when I saw interesting record covers of my brother. Although I was not allowed to, I listened to them. Wow!? What and who was it? It was Kate Bush, who became my singing teacher. I locked myself in my brother's room every day and sang along with the songs. Must have sounded awful, *haha! Then at the age of 15 I sang in my first band and the experience was lousy. Cheap equipment, not my music. It was the 80s! :-) My heart beats for Blues, Rock and Jazz. I had the high notes through Kate. Now I wanted to have that dirt in my voice and sing low. So I started practicing. The equipment got better, the musicians and me too. The most fun for me is the small cutlery, because then the voice has space.
