Greetings! Hope this finds you all well. We were fortunate enough to be able to dodge the cold and covid restrictions in Michigan and head south to perform. We proceed very carefully and stayed masked as much as possible! In and out of lock down these past few months of 2020, I was able to gather my players together, rehearse and record, distanced. The new release is called "Terry Got a Pitbull", a fun story about my time as a landlady and the drama that resulted back in those days! The song began as lyrics on a hip hop beat. I put it aside for years until I found music (on Kompoz.com) written by a guy in Maine, Reggie B. He liked my lyrics and melodic idea. He already had a killer recording but I chose to recreate it with my band, "live". I overdubbed some parts, keyboard and guitar solos, my sax lines, back vocals, and mixed it down.
