About Kayenar

Born and raised in Jamaica, Kayenar the new young reggae/hiphop explosive on the block. Kayenar's story is one of many trials and tribulation, he knows the meaning of a real hard life.

As a young youth Kayenar started exploring music from the age of eleven but really only started writing songs at age twelve. In fact when he was much younger he didn't even like music that much. All that changed with the emerge of artist like bounty killer, baby cham, merciless, and last but not least vybz kartel.

Kayenar fell in love with riding riddims, the rhymes and also the attention he got for his talent to do both. At first he used songs made by the artist vybz kartel and did them his way with his own lyrics. His creativity in doing so got him alot of fame in his grade at high school. Soon after he was encouraged to take music more seriously and he also was began to get criticism about only pirating other peoples songs.

So Kayenar decided he would make his own songs, he was still one of the best in his school. He even tried clashing other artist freestyle which he was never good at and came out on top. There was no doubt that this kid had talent.
