Khalif Hakim Stsallah Ruebin who is known as Kayman who was born and raise in Durham, NC. He is bring a new style in music not only in the rap game, but also in the music industry. He been a solo artist since 2009 his music is on Myspace, Soundcloud, Reverbnation, and other websites. Before he became a solo he was part of a group 2Lil'Kay along with his cousin Kashif Ruebin. One point they decided to go separate ways and one of his friends left Durham to move back to Jersey, so he kept his career going with releasing 2 mixtapes on Datpiff in 2012 called Black Rose: The Redo, and Kayman 2012. He started going to Open Mics and became most loved artist in the triangle area in NC. During the time, he released The Story of an Emo-Lover in the summer of 2013 the mixtape on Soundcloud and Datpiff. The Story of an Emo-Lover became recognize by Justin-Finkelstein on Soundcloud. In 2014, his track"My World" for the upcoming project he had been most played track on Soundcloud his profile. Even though his old tracks from high school people enjoy in the Open Mics around Durham and Raleigh.
