Ohio's Greatest Musician: John Keith better known as rapper Kay Racks was born December 25 1993 raised on Adams in East Cleveland, Ohio where life was hard to live for this young individual and his 8 peers. Kay racks is the 5th son of 8 children raised by his mother (Melissa Keith), who was the wife of his father (Ronald Stewart) who mainly lived his life in the streets, also head of the Cadillac Gang, Not to mention a DJ as well which caused the young musician "Kay Racks" to grow up around music of all genres. As time went by in the fast life lived, young 13 year old (John Keith) "Kay Racks" lost his dad due to a assault charge that caused him to do time in the penitentiary for 3 years. As time went by, later Kay Racks and his brothers and sisters were adopted by their grandmother (Coleen Harris), Later They then moved to the city of Cleveland Heights where Things turned out to be a little easier, but not for long. Kay Racks started making music at the age of 13 seeing it was the only way he could let his emotions out, especially since he seen other kids who would have their parents to go home to. He would stay up for hours writing songs after songs, he then ran into a studio to record in a producer named "Six Eyes". He knew from there what he had a passion for and what he would become though nobody acknowledge him, it only made him rage in the inside anxious to prove himself. Kay Racks was introduced to the dope game at the age of 15 Although it was promised that he wouldn't follow in his dads foot steps but being introduced to a crowd that seen his attentions were about money changed his perspective of life. Kay Racks started out as his own man when he first had an understanding of life but had a close friend who he looked to for reliable knowledge in the streets. Loosing him to two gun shot wombs to the chest changed him for life, especially since the way the two hustled together was the reason for these effects caused. Kay Racks knew he didn't want to be next but he couldn't let the life of being a hustler end, even if it meant taking a life. He loved the feeling of having money so Kay racks started selling marijuana hoping he would get less attention from the people who wasn't buying and more attention from people who were. At the age of 17 Kay racks was officially in the system after being caught by Cleveland Heights police with a pocket full of drugs, not to forget he was almost a High School drop out. Kay Racks went through a stage of depression after being caught up in an attempted murder charge in which he only "witnessed". Police investigator told him and his twin brother they were being charged with accessory to a crime and told they could be facing juvenile life. He and his twin brother was then slapped on the wrist with 1 year of probation and 250 hours of community service. After making it through his temporary downfall Kay Racks started to devote his life to music and school, being careful of how he moved. He started to make R&B music 2 months before turning 18. In Elementary School Kay Racks took challenge choir at Roxboro Middle School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio which made his voice much more aggressive. Now at the age of 21 Kay Racks is a musician who is a High School graduate putting his life into his music every second of the day. He went to Pittsburgh's Art Institution to major in Digital Film Making & Video Production but for a short period of time. The young musician moved back to Cleveland, Ohio to major in Business Management at Lakeland Community College in Wickliffe, Ohio. Kay Racks saying is "In order to make great music you must first find who you are inside" and that is what he's been living by all through his career. He now awaits his time to show the world what he is really made of. Kay Racks says " good team work equals great success and great success equals a stable lifetime" We all have yet to see what he brings next knowing that his music is full of surprises and excitement.
