KC7 The Story
2016: While Mike was recording with DJ OB ONE, Eddy Delaluz and Zuen Nelly were on Saymon's line. After a performance by Mike in the church, Edi and Nelson came up to him and they started to meet and exchange more often. From then on, the 3 decided to make music together in the future: KC7 was born! 2017: After a studio session, they went to Ayverdis (where else) to eat a kebab and by chance, Saymon was there too. They showed him the nearby studio and the week after, the first KC7 track "Prepara tu Maleta" was recorded. Saymon became a permanent member of KC7 as producer and soon followed the next songs. There followed more tracks and on the 5th of August 2019 the first EP release took place.
Mike Malone
Rapper VocalistMichael Fetz is 32 years old, lives in Zurich and has been married since 2012. Grown up in a Christian house, his father is Swiss and his mother from Guatemala. At 14, he began to write his first lyrics, but these were relatively provocative and sometimes hateful. During his apprenticeship as a salesman, Michael came closer to Christianity and recorded his first songs "El Alma a Cristo", "El Niño" and "El Soldado", which were never officially released. The songs were recorded in a small studio with DJ OB ONE. During this time he had also found the connection to the church and also played drums in the band. Now and then he could also perform the 3 songs in the church, which he had dedicated to Jesus.
Zuen Nelson
Rapper VocalistSven Nelson Martinez is 25 years old and the son of a Uruguayan and a Venezuelan. He is Edi's best friend. Since their school days, best friends, both thrilled by Rap, came in contact with the Church at the age of 15 and got to know Jesus Christ. This Jesus, who has given him the ability to seize people like a magnet and to tell of the love of God.
Eddy Delaluz
Pianist RapperEddy Delaluz is 25 years old and comes from the Dominican Republic. The sounds and rhythms fascinated him early on. He grew up in the middle of Latin American music. But came early with hip-hop and classical music in touch. When his neighbor played the guitar all the time, he really wanted to start with it. However, when his family moved to Switzerland at the age of 8, he remained at the piano. Today he is a jazz pianist and rapper. Beat Producing is also very important to him. His music infuses his spirituality and relationship with God. Together with the jazz singer Isabel Richiusa he forms the Richiusa Delaluz duo. He is currently studying Jazz Piano at the Zurich University of the Arts.
Saymo'K
Composer Guitarist Programming VocalistVuvu-Saymon-Kuziem-Gonçalves, was born as Angolan-Kongoles and last son of Simon & Meki Kuziem in Brazil. He has the musical streak from his Angolan great-grandfather. Even as a small boy, little Saymon sang in the churches, accompanied by his father on the guitar. He started singing in Brazil at the age of two and a half and often struggled to finish a song without interruption because everyone, especially the little girls, was staring at him. Years later, when he was annoyed at the kindergarten in Neuwiesen-Winterthur, because the kindergarten teacher only accompanied the songs with only one chord on the guitar, he finally got hold of the guitar in his little arms, even if with great difficulty. When he suddenly started to play, everyone was very surprised. Through his family, the Kuziem Singers, he has learned to sing with African and gospel songs and also play drums, keyboard and guitar. At the age of 12, he wrote his first song 'My Lord' and knew very well that he wanted to devote his musical talent to God only. With all the imprints of the 90's, Saymon started to create his own beats and write the lyrics by instructing his brother 'Benjamin - masterBG'! Vuvu (Kikongo: Hope) was often picked up at school earlier because his goals were too unrealistic to classmates. Nevertheless, he strove for his goal (until today)! By working with Streetchurch in the Prison Hope area, he has discovered his target audience - 'Prisoners in Prison'. Now he wants to bring the Gospel closer to these people through his music!
