Closing down N1M

Well it has been a busy summer for me and now things are slowing down. I've been working on remix and remastering many of my songs. It involves songs on the albums: Shelter Of The Cross and Where Peaceful Waters Flow. Some of them I followed the advice people have been giving me. I made all of those songs "Radio Ready" If you haven't listened to my songs in a while, give them a listen. Thank you all for your support

I uploaded a new song that I just finished writing called "The Bloodstained Cross". The song is born out of a revelation that I received. I once thought "why are the Atheist bothered by the cross and want it removed, if they believe that God doesn't exist. The cross should not bother them." Then it dawned on me...The cross is doing just what it is meant to do...lead a person to conviction. Thus they want it removed, so that they will not fall into conviction. I hope you enjoy the song and pass it onto a friend that needs to hear the message in the song.

I can't believe that I have more than a thousand subscribers. I haven't sent out a newsletter for a while, it's been a busy summer i recently did some remix and mastering of some of my songs: Womb Of The Unknown, O Holy Night, and Silent Night. I picked the song "Open Door" for the story behind the song. I started writing the song in 2010, but didn't complete it until early 2014. My daughter passed away in 2010 and I had a struggle trying to put the words together. When I did finish the song, I felt I had come up short on getting the message through that I wanted. I felt there was more to be said about what the open door means. I guess for each and every one of us, the open door brings something different, but we can be sure that whatever it is...it's something to be cherished. I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is the story behind the song: Forever Changed. I wrote this song back in 2009 and it is based on what the bible says about the rapture that will take place soon. I wondered why it mentions that heaven is a place where there are no more tears and that Jesus will dry every tear. Why would there be tears in a place like heaven. I realized that when we get to heaven, We will look for friends and family that we thought would be there. When we don't find them, that is when we will shed a tear, and Jesus will wipe our tears away.. Verse two of the song refers to this. I hope you like the song

I'm getting ready to make a trip to Nashville, leaving on the 16th. I'm taking part in the Objective Session through the Extreme Tour. It runs 4 days, the 17th through the 20th. I will get a chance to speak personally to those in the music industry and learn very useful information in all aspects concerning music. After that we will spend a day in Memphis and then go visit some friends in North Carolina. Looking forward to this trip.
So here is the story behind the song I wrote: I'd Settle For A Pup Tent. I work part time at a music store, and sometimes when I finished a job, my boss would say that I would have a nice mansion waiting for me and I would respond back, "I'd settle for a pup tent". I got to thinking one day, that I should write a song about that, so in 2013 I wrote that song. I decided to make the song sound like a Southern Gospel Song, so I did some extra vocals to give it that style. I also made a video of the song. I grew a beard one winter and set up a pup tent in my back yard. I wanted it to give that outdoors man kind of fell, so be sure to check that out. I hope you all like the song.

The song "I Worship You, Oh My Lord" is the song that took me the least amount of time to write. I wrote it back in 1997, while I was waiting at the church for a friend to pick me up to help him with some work he had to do. The song came to me instantly, and I wrote it down on a piece of paper. I was scheduled to sing a song at church soon and thought this would be a good song for that. Later that day I sat down to play the song, but couldn't find the paper I wrote it down on. I thought I would remember it, but When I tried to play it, I just couldn't remember it. A few days later I found the paper, and was glad that I had found it. The song has evolved over the years, I added more vocals to the ending: You're all I need and Hallelujah. I also added the mandolin throughout the song. I hope you all enjoy it.

The song "You Are The Lord" is based on the scripture Philippians 2:10,11...That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
When I wrote this song back in 2014, I was blown away by the scope of what those verses proclaim, and what must have to happen to convince everyone on the earth, and in heaven, and in hell. That means people of any faith or no faith at all. As the song implies " What a glorious day that will be!

It's Too Late is one of the first Christian songs that I wrote. This song had many challenges for me. The song is somewhat like a funeral dirge using a bassoon sound for the music part. My first recording started with a heartbeat and a heart monitor beeping along with the heartbeat that slows down and comes to a stop. The heart monitor gives a continuous beep that drops to a low tone to signify going into hell, then the song begins. When the song ends, it ends with a discord to represent that this persons life ended on a discord. I wasn't sure of the words for the song, so I asked the Lord to show me, but I told Him I didn't want to go there. When the words came to me I didn't understand them, so the Lord revealed it to me. How can hell be cold and dark with flames of fire all around? When we die, we no longer have the physical body. Our bodies can feel hot and cold while we are alive. What we feel when we die and go to hell is a chill coming over us much like the chill we feel when we are (expired link) this recent version I removed the heartbeat and added the laughing, screams and loud noises to make the song kind of creepy. I always feel as though I come up short on the real representation of what hell is really like. What I want is the listener to do everything they can to avoid ending up there. In other words..."Seek the Lord while He may be found".

I had the opportunity to sing in the choir at three of the Billy Graham Crusades when they were in NY State. It was an experience that I will never forget. So long Billy, you finally made it home.

Many of you have probably heard the song that I wrote ; Womb of The Unknown. I am a Christian and because of that I have a moral conviction against abortion in any form, But people are not willing to accept what Christians have to say, even though it is according to what God says. If you look at the words of the song that I wrote, You will notice that there is no mention of God in the song. So recently I came to the understanding that abortion is murder and science proves it. I don't have to use my Christianity to prove it, I can prove it through science. So I am thinking about creating a web page that gives all the information that proves (expired link) I need to know is if there is an interest in this. Are you longin' to be longin' to the Lord? that was the phrase that kept going through my mind, along with a little tune to go with it, back in 1995. It was the start of my songwriting journey. I built the rest of the song around that phrase and gave it the title: Longin' 2B Longin'. Many of the songs I write start out that way, with just a little bit, and I have to build around it. The Lord gave me a message back then and I still follow it today. He said "I have a lot of people writing songs that speak to Christians. I want you to write songs that speak to non-Christians." So, that is how this song was born. Someone told me that the song makes them feel like they are driving down the road with the wing blowing through their hair, so I added the sound of a car starting up at the beginning.
