Song Reviews
yes
the song comes with a good start and also the guitar tour is not bad. your voice is suitable for the kind of music you do and even the piano plays its part accompanying the guitar in a spectacular way. I do not see any faults neither in terms of performance nor in terms of performance, so I can not give you any negative judgment, in fact I have to tell you that I really like it. the only thing I do not find a blues piece as you indicated but maybe I'm wrong.

Twist & Turns...
A superb song lyric about pressing in for the journey of The Overcomer Stunning in it's complex musical composition, which is in contrast to the simplicity to the mellow way the vocalist sings the lyrics. Wisdom and sage advice in a nutshell ..A very unique style and a wonderful talent. I especially loved the guitar instrumental. It called to mind another artist...Billy Joel . Beautiful! I really enjoyed the journey and appreciate the advice right now. Onward and Upward. I look forward to hearing more like this soon!

Rest if you Must But Don't Give Up
Strongly influenced by the "golden years" of songwriting; You can hear little bits of Eric Clapton and Paul Simon in his crystal clear travis picking guitar playing. You can hear the insightful advice in his lyrics, via Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. The vocals show an experienced musician with plenty of experiences to draw from in his songwriting. The guitars have a nice, honest recording technique. The vocals may sound better without the slap-back reverb/delay but instead a softer longer reverb with a lower pitch EQ for the reverb. "Rest if you must, but don't give up" is a great line. The recording is clean sounding and a overall a good bed for the song to lie on. It's good to hear a songwriter who's using the genre what it's meant for and not pandering or writing surface level content.

Twist and Turn
Good lyrics, nice progression, and this song is well worth committing to a better recording. Like the piano arrangement, and I can imagine it with a Tom Waits-style sound, small band, with maybe one brass, just a thought. In short, I think it's a good song, and with development, could be a really really good song. Keep twisting and turning, Keith.

Jolie ballade folk intimiste

Twist and Turns a Pleasure
“Rest if you must, but don't give up” is a salient phrase for this time in this life. TWIST AND TURNS is an important song for the now we are living through. “Life is strange with its twist and turns” reminds the listener to delete the need to understand and keep moving forward. The listener is encouraged to take a break from the strangeness of life. The song repeats: “Rest if you must.” This is done in various ways connected to differing phrases, so maintains and sustains interest. “When care is pressing you down” - “You want to smile, but have to sigh” - “Rest if you must.” The pleasant acoustic guitar begins simply with a chord then single notes morphing into rhythmic finger-picking. Rhythmic piano is added building excitement and giving the effect of a life full of rushing - so much to do to reach the “Victor’s Cup” and the “Golden Crown” that are just within reach. “The goal may be closer then you think” - “Don't give up” and “Rest if you must”… Each time I listen, I hear new wisdom, new encouragement, nuances that provoke thought, consideration. Folk meets Jazz rhythms and vocal move along through the entire song as the Singer intermittently repeats the mantra - “Rest if you must” until the ending when the song resolves simply with “Life is strange with its twist and turns.” The guitar and piano do a quick fade-out which is perfect for this theme and style.

Let me hear more.
Mention the blues and I'm there, really loved this not to much blues but your vocal is strong with a touch of Lennon meets Crowded house, song is really nice and catchy. Well done my friend would love to listen to more.

Nice work!
Nice track, keep up the good work. A song which most people can relate to and one to inspire. Really love the guitar, but all sounds great! Certainly one to keep an eye out for future releases.

I like,
Honestamente, me ha gustado mucho. Me encanta la cadencia y el sentimiento. Se nota que has vivido. Me encanta la música que emana de las almas veteranas. A mí me ocurre lo mismo. Espero que puedas entender mis palabras en mi lengua

More is more
Well Keith, Firstly I think this track has been beautifully recorded and has quite a good arrangement . The guitar parts are excellent keys are good too. The vocal isn't my cup of tea but is well stylized and has great dynamics. BUT.... the lack of percussion and any bass end instrument tends to make me think this track is reaching less than 50% of its potential. Using percussion allows you to highlight the chorus etc. and gives light and shade to a track. I understand this only a demo but that's when you can experiment.

Twisting and turning
The start was interesting going on a lead run then straight into picking, I like the way you use the piano, and the way the song builds, the mix is nice having the guitars panned left and right and the piano in the middle sounds like you are singing on top of the piano too. I am a fan of Van Morrison and his use of poetry and the way he vocalises his work. I see this in a similar way, The lyrics reminding us to rest. all in all nice work. Ask yourself whether you would consider a wind instrument to add something extra?.

reminds me of Dylan
For some reason I have taken to this song. It reminds me of Bob Dylan.. Nice melody but the words fade in and out hence the Dylan feel. Setting sound right is of monumental importance..With the right microphone technics it has the potential be a pretty good song. Has some nice lyrics but hard to catch some of them over the music.. All in all a pretty good try and I'm sure that there are some more songs in your repertoire I will be interested in listening to. Hope you take the time to listen and help with any positive advice you might have on the evolution of future recordings

Dreama made on Sand
I like this one very much, the quality of the guitar the voice and the mood, however to me it lacks structure, as in it has no distinguishing build up or even a distinguishing chorus, or a bridge feel...I would love to hear it thus complete. Hoping this review helps.
