Keith Monacchio "Tips, Driks & Gas Money" EP

In September 2008, Keith Monacchio, formally of the band's, The Commons & The Semibeings, officially launched his solo career. Upstage Magazine called Keith Monacchio “one of the best songwriters in the state of New Jersey”. "The Long Evening", his first solo record , was released in 2010 to stellar reviews. The album ended up on several year end "best of" lists, as well as coming in at # 12 best release of the decade in Gary Wien's book "Are You Listening" The Top 100 Albums of 2001 - 2010 From New Jersey Artists. Keith Monacchio is back with a four song offering entitled “tips, drinks & gas money” ep. Built around fan favorite “Coffee House” these songs are intended as an appetizer before his second long player arrives in 2013. In addition to “Coffee House”, “Bless This Home”, “I’ll Take Care Of You” and “Now That It’s Done” have all been staples of Keith’s live show for the past few years. According to Keith “sometimes it takes a bit of time to find a proper home for certain songs. These four were orphans for a while, but now they feel like they’re right were they were always meant to be.” Produced and recorded by Sean Glonek (SRG Studios Hamilton, NJ) and joined by a stellar group of musicians Mike Noordzy, Joe Harvard, Mike White, Adam Braun, as well as Glonek, all playing on select tracks. Always a storyteller, Monacchio writes with a more autobiographical pen on this offering. This small batch of songs gives a nod to the past, while pointing its head directly toward the future. I hope you enjoy my music and I look forward to bringing you my next LP in 2014. Best! Keith Monacchio
