Hey all!

I am working on a new album called "Surrender to the Water" which will be released sometime in mid March! You can hear a few of the songs, one of which is attached to this message. Be prepared for something a little different. Throw out the term "genre" because KT puts that word to shame! Get ready to hear everything from pop to rap (yes, I rap!) to almost operatic at times. Just an entire spectrum of goodness.

"Surrender to the Water" is dedicated to my love of all water and my life's mission to care for it. You will notice a darker tone and feel and much emotion and sadness in many of the songs. I have chosen to make all the photos black and white, representing a river spirit seeking power and justice.

Every song has been written entirely by me. Please take the time to listen to my newest songs added along with "River Blood". Enjoy!

As you may have noticed, I changed a few things. A couple songs which were uploaded previously as "unfinished" are now featured on my profile as the official album versions. However, I do not have ALL of them up for listening.

It is very difficult in today's world to continue making great music without financial support. If you love what you hear, please consider purchasing the album "Downpours", which includes most of what you hear on N1M plus some I have chosen to be surprises. These tracks you will only hear if you buy the album. They are awesome!!

It's the moment you've been waiting for! "Downpours" is now available for purchase!

The album includes all my songs on N1M, plus some I have not uploaded. Your favorite tunes of mine on N1M are not mastered and/or do not include additions which are on the album. For example, the song "Norman Rockwell" is under the title "Summoning the Past" and includes a new version with rapper Jazper UpNorthCity. The song "40 Days" is completed with background vocals and a guitarist.

You can finally listen to these tunes in your car, on your phone and in your boom box!

There are two ways that you can purchase the album.

1. Get an autographed CD: Go to (expired link) to purchase your very own Downpours CD, autographed personally to you! NOTE: THE LINK I INCLUDED IN MY LAST MESSAGE IS INACTIVE!
With the CD, you will also get 4 bonus tracks, which include the remix of Red River Flood.

2. Search for "Downpours, Kelly Thundercloud" in iTunes, amazon or any other popular online music store to download the album. NOTE: The download version does not include bonus tracks.

It is so awesome to see over 2,000 of you have subscribed! I have gotten plenty of replies from many of you and that keeps my spirits up. I've heard many good things about Red River Flood. If you can't get enough of my music on N1M, you can finally have the songs as your very own!

"Downpours" will be available on June 12! It includes everything you have heard on N1M plus several tracks that I've kept secret ;) You won't be disappointed.

There are two ways you can purchase the album. Both links will be added to my "merchandise" page on N1M.
1. It will be available for download from popular online stores. (Stores other than iTunes may take longer to process, so if you search for my album at your favorite online store and can't find it, try again in a week or so).
If you download the album from online music stores, you will NOT get the bonus tracks, which include the Red River Flood Remix.
2. You can order a CD from (expired link). This WILL include bonus tracks AND an autograph. Price for a CD is $13.50 and INCLUDES shipping. If you don't like to pay online or with a credit card, send an e mail to thundercloudent@(expired link) and you will receive an address to which you can send a check instead.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who was looking forward to the original April 24th release date for the album "Downpours"! I had several setbacks, including illnesses, which left me unable to meet my own deadline. I've decided to give myself a couple more months just to get everything in order. The new official release date is June 12th!! Everything you hear on N1M will be included on the album. The "Red River Flood Self Remix" will only be included on the hard copy, which can currently be pre-ordered on my website. (expired link). This copy will also include other bonus tracks that the online download version will not.

I will finally be able to go to Grand Forks, ND to shoot the music video for "Red River Flood"! You will not be disappointed. :) The video will be available sometime in June.

If you have not heard my fun, party track yet, take a listen now to "Frydai Neit". I was not originally going to include that song on the album, but it was literally written, recorded and produced within 4 days! I couldn't resist!

I will soon be uploading another tune to N1M, called "The Escape". Stay tuned!

Hey there!

Check out my latest masterpiece, "Wash Me With Downpours"! It is the title track for the album "Downpours", which is still in the making. This new song is based on a Celtic sound with it's own twist. You won't be disappointed.

Red River Flood is now #2 on global charts in folk! Thanks for your help at getting it there. I apologize for misleading anyone by not posting a buy link for the song. I changed that just now. I posted a link to (expired link), but you are welcome to purchase it in any major online music store. :)

Speaking of Red River Flood, I will be going to Grand Forks, ND next month to shoot half of the music video. I am hoping to get the video up in May.

You have seen "40 Days - Unfinished Version" for a long time and are probably wondering why it is "unfinished" and when the "finished" version will be released. Well, I have been waiting on a guitarist. Tonight I finally found the guy! He already vibed to the song. I also added a few background vocals and equalized it differently. If you like this song now, you are in for a real treat!
