A really Blues Prophecy

Woow Kelly !! What deep music !! Full of feeling .. I liked the arrangement, the sound of the guitar and his hoarse voice .. It reminded me of Janis in a few moments !! I'm sure I'll recommend it to people I know! Keep making good music !! Good luck and let's use music to save civilization !! ;)

Funky blues track

The guitar sound is reminiscent of heavy seventies blues masters. Kelly's vocals are nicely mixed above the keys. it contains a very tasty solo with some double tracking that brings us back To the last verse with some more guitar. This sounds like a true story put to music. Some may find it a bit long but if you like blues guitar you will be happy you listened to this track,

love , love , love the bass and beat . The song is well crafted and the lead guitar has a great sound and weaves the song together well . This song should be a success easily and the singer reminds me of Bonnie Raitt . Lots of luck with your project , Cliff

Same old cobblers

I checked out some of your other songs and I can confidently say that to non-American ears they nearly all sound the same. I concede that some of the tunes vary slightly. At the same time, you have a really good blues voice and I cannot help wondering what you could do with a decent song and different backing. I don't suppose I will ever know.

Very good song

I'm impressed you took that melody other places, places most wouldn't have thought of. Very original for blues. It's hard to write new blues w/o repeating it. Although,.. where you call her lady,.. thought woman would work better. Great guitars lead, etc,. but, when you sing, I keep picturing Suzi Quatro, that's a great thing!

The lyrics are intriguing. They cause the listener to engage and think with vocals rich with bluesy rasp. Your guitar leads shred and the song was well played. All of that coupled with a quality recording left me enjoying a song that would normally be out of my musical genres of choice. Well done!!

Really Nice Modern Blues

Kelly has done a great job here in putting a great example of tthe simple, beauty of the blues while adding a unique edge with her own style of delivery and her voice! Loving the guitar sound - very Gary Moore, which is ALWAYS going to resonate with lovers of the blues! Great stuff.

Close but no cigar

Playin' the blues in a contemporary style is an art in itself. Overcoming the limitations and boundaries of this old-fashioned genre while keeping the feeling alive is not easy at all. Your song's got quite some good elements, but to me they seem to be mounted together without a real flow. The lead guitar sound's a bit too compressed, the solo starts with a rather unspectacular first part that turns into a wild sequence of licks in the second one. The drums, especially the snare, are underrepresented in the first verse, while the organ is a bit too present all over; and I would have preferred a clean rhythm guitar instead of the piano. The bass lines are good and the voice as well. But, as said, the whole song appears a bit artificial and bloodless to me.

Blues Prophecy

Good blues tone, but not a stereotypical blues riff on the intro. I find that refreshing. The vocals are a bit pitchy in spots but some good emotion behind it. Don't feel like you have to be too fast and/or busy on some of those riffs. The simpler riffs can be just as interesting. I dig the lyrics. Poignant and interesting. The solo didn't really grab me. It felt somewhat disconnected in feel & emotion from the rest of the song. Overall I think it's a good song but it goes on for long without a change of feel

Needs more time

The song and writer show promise but more work is needed with the vocals. The production lacks separation with the tracks and should be EQ'ed properly to make that distinction. The drums are not crisp enough to bring them out in the mix and the bass seems a bit boomy. Again the instrument layers get mushy especially when the synth sound is added. I like the lead guitar player and the bass and drums are quite adequate. Much could be done to improve this track without changing a lot of the recording...mostly a mix problem.

Blues Prophecy

Kelly Wildowsky brings us Blues Prophesy... a slow downbeat blues joint in the vein of Alannah Myles. From a listener's standpoint its a typical blues song. From a producer's standpoint, well... first off the vocal is off key, the guitar is a bit fussy and no always on time, especially during the lengthy solo section. There is a lot more "I'm a heavy metal god stuck in a blues band" than blues in the solo... and the resolve from the reprise to the last verse loses all of its intensity. Not as prophetic as the artist would like to believe.

Buen blues

Me ha gustado mucho este tema. El sonido es muy bueno y la canción está bien estructurada. También me ha gustado la voz y son muy buenos los solos de guitarra. Felicidades, te deseo mucha suerte!

Blues Indeed

A good blues songs with a guitar riff, slow drum beat and the story that makes you ache with the heartache. The music is great. Well played or programmed, however you did it. The vocals are fine. Clearly someone with a lot of passion for singing for a performance as it is. I think the guitar interlude in the middle really makes the song what it is - a great blues number. That's this songs biggest strength.

I have not heard 'anything' from you that I haven't liked. Your Bass player reminds me of 'me' the way he plays. You had me going at the bridge, starting it out real slow and smooth and was hoping that you were going to take it around (1) more time...and you 'Did'...just kickin' it into that gear I was waiting for. I must say that you 'amazed' me, again. My Best to you and your Band. ~ Gizzmow...Bonham, Texas.
