About Thebano Emilio
Born in the small town of São Fidélis-RJ, Thebano Emilio is the first child of seven, of a lawyer and a primary school teacher. A physicist by profession. Poet and musician by inspiration. He started playing guitar and composing the first songs in partnership with his brother Didi Antônio, inspired by the music festivals, very common in his hometown. In 1973, he moved to Niterói to start his secondary studies, moving to live with his uncle, Pedro Emilo, a poet and future partner in several songs. Always giving priority to studies, music was a hobby of inspiration and socialization. Between 1973 and 1982, he participated in some popular music festivals in São Fidélis, Itaperuna, Padua, Niterói and Valença. In 1982, he moved to Campinas, where he has settled down to this day. He has an LP recorded “Kengo – (expired link)”. He composed the soundtrack for the play “O Crime da Cabra”, staged by the theater group “Espalha Phactos”.
