We'll have a song for everyone i hope, Also i'd like to let you know for those of you who write songs that we are chasing songs that are about horses and also growing up in the city and what it's like. It can be sent through in any form what so ever/ even a story. With music or with out. Or if you would like to have a go at righting a song, we will look at anything that you'd send us. But we can only fit in two songs so get in quick and tell your story, we look forward to seeing your work. Hi All, I do hope your year so far has been a great one my friends. I have been flat out on the 2016 album recordings, and would like to thankyou all for your support thus far. Also to let you all know that the first three fans to message me with the answer to this question ( What is my true middle name) Will receive a signed copy of the next album and poster. About Ken Lawson
I have been a passionate Country Music Singer/Songwriter since the age of 14, i first learnt to play the Guitar under the Guidance of my Father. As a youth i sang songs by some of the most influential Country Music Artists, and performed at many Local events including a stint being an opening act for James Blundell in 1991 in Texas. In my 20's i ventured into writing my own Songs, which i found to be very rewarding and i feel that i have achieved a lot through my storytelling. I had a break from performing while raising my family, and now have returned to performing. I recorded a single at Hillbilly Hut in Bateau Bay with Simon Johnson and released it last year, i was to return and finish the Album but found i was unable to do so as my Mother was ill with Emphysema and found myself helping my father to care for her.
After a long break I returned to the studio where I completed the New Album “Brought Up Rough” which was released in January 2013, this album was a success on the Radio and the internet. At the end of 2013 i also released a New Album Titled “We Stand Tall” it has also been a success on Radio and the internet, it was a challenge that i wanted to Write, Record and Release Two Albums in one year, i found it an absolute pleasure to do both Albums and the Songs on the Albums are from the Heart and i hope Speaks to the listeners and i hope they enjoy them. On both Albums i have family involved, and we had a great time in the studio working together. My daughter sings backup vocals on Brought up Rough and in We Stand Tall we do a couple of Duets.
