Flesh Gallery formed in 1996 in Lincoln Park, Michigan and disbanded in 2005. The band described their music as 'Disturbing, Diabolical Death Metal from Detroit". Flesh Gallery put out one CD in 2003 entitled 'Tombs Of Sorrow" and recorded one demo at the University of Michigan (Dearborn campus) studio. Flesh Gallery is also featured on a compilation CD entitled 'The University Of Michigan-Diversity CD which features a plethora of musical influences from Detroit. Flesh Gallery played many shows in the local Detroit scene and also traveled to Ohio and Indiana. Their first show they opened for 3 local bands on a Sunday evening in 1997 and drew 50 people themselves and started booking shows. On November 9th, 1997 they supported Dark Funeral. Their last show was the Ohio Death Fest in Cleveland Hgts., Ohio on June 25, 2005. Flesh Gallery's originated as a 5 piece (Semias, Karl, Sean, Andy and Ken). There were line-up changes as Karl and Sean parted ways and left Flesh Gallery without a drummer. Shortly after, Andy decided to pursue different musical interests and Ken and Semias decided to keep Flesh Gallery alive. Semias took on the role of percussion. They added Mike McShane (Sauron/Nocturnal Fear) as bass/vocals. Flesh Gallery's members included: Andy Robertson (vocals), Semias (bass, vocals, drums), Sean George (drums), Karl Wertanen (guitar), Ken Lewis (guitar, vocals), Mike McShane (bass, vocals).
