Hi, been a crazy busy year so far, just wrapped up Austins SXSW 2016 and will be heading to Nashville early April to promote "Countryproof, " I really appreciate you requesting new songs material and because this site was the first place I submitted "Steppin Out," and "Countryproof," it seems only right as an exclusive to provide the link to the
new Countryproof Music trailer. This features portions of each of the five songs set to visual. Many of the pictures I took
myself to help match the character songs. It would be great if you will check it out and let me know how you like it

Hello friends of Countryproof,
Sorry its been a while since my last update but it's been non stop working to wrap the CountyProof EP. Hard to believe that " Steppin Out," has been played over 41'000 times on this site. crazy cool !! I am glad to announce we are planning a visual/audio sampler later this month, that will be exclusive to our Countryproof fans here first . Thank you so very much for hanging in there with me during these last months. I am excited to be finally able to share some of the other songs with you. The EP is five songs, and includes performances with 26 top guest musical artists that have provided time, sweat and talent in helping bring the songs to life.
I recently received an email from a fan who summed up our feelings in trying to make this project the best we can, and one we are proud to share. "Thanks for creating great music that we (fans) want to play over and over again ."
This email really touched me as the songs, and this project are special to me and I hope it will be special for you .
We are in the process of designing a Web site and let you know when it is up an running. It will include, information
on the making of this CD, photos' upcoming events and other cool surprises. We are planning on making copies available for our fans first by donation, to help us cover some of the post expenses with part going to my favorite charity for children. Let us know if you are interested in getting a finished copy of the CD once available.

It’s that time again when I can send out an email , and hope you are doing great.

Monday , after 4 weeks “Steppin Out, “ was still top ranking . Last week it had made number 1 for Country Pop and Tradiional for US and in all Genres for the state of Texas . That’s so cool and I personally thank you and everyone who has continued to support "Countryproof Music. It is your support that helps he song has continue to stay in top rankings and I hope you will continue to tell your friends and play /vote for the song. You are really helping me make this project even better . Amazing!

I have received some great emails , and I read everyone and try to get back but have fallin a little behind on getting back because we have been busy working on the project.
These emails and support has meant so much I have written another song that Joanna will be singing and many of the same musicians are already on board. We have been working
on completing the song “Waiting for the Band to Start with some new parts created by drummer Kenny Aranoff and bassist James Lomenzo both on tour with John Fogerty. We are starting principal recording on an unscheduled song “ Home town Saturday Night and I am also working with my art project art director John Wroten and trying to get the “Countryproof”site “ up and running and hope to have that very soon for you . If you have any suggestions on things you would like to see on the Web site , send ‘em my way. Yes we will be having a few T shirts
made in advance for our friends. So let us know if you would be interested in having one.

So exciting this week , as Number 1 Music had sent an email that our song "Steppin Out" had made number 1 in all Genres for the state of Texas. It allso was number one for Country Tradiional for US early this week. Thank you and everyone who has continued to support "Countryproof Music. Because of your support the song has continued to stay in top rankings. Amazing! Because of this and the emails we have been receiving I have written another song that Joanna will be singing and many of the same musicians are already on board. We will be adding a few new surprises but its a cool song called " Hometown Saturday Night," This is an unscheduled song but I have had many request for another one so we start this month recording . Wish us the best, and will keep you updated as we go along.

I hope all is well for you. Been a very busy two weeks here since I last got a chance to drop a line. It is very cool to see each time I log on , our supporter list growing with a few new names each day. Early this week our song "Steppin Out," held the number six spot in the Country Pop catg and number two in Country Traditional.
Because of the great support of this song and many requests to do another like it , I am writing a new unscheduled song to be added to the forthcoming "Countryproof EP. So your requesting the song, continuining to listen to it and sharing with your friends has really inspired me to do this. Thanks much :) I am hoping to have many of the same musicians (with a couple of new suprises ) and Joanna to sings this one too. It will be another rockin fiesty song with a driving rhythm and should be fun. I have been saviing a speccial list of those who have already sent an email to us , and we are putting to gether a thank you offering to be announced soon for all who take the time. I hope you will continue to play our music and send an email , as it is really great feedback and helps the music project grow even greater. Well its hard to believe it's almost the 4rth of July again but I hope this writing finds you well. There is a lot of music out there , but I thank you for taking time to add your email address to our subscriber list. We have been getting some very cool emails and comments on " Steppin Out " and the new music. I am thankful to hear directly , how you are liking our music as we move to complete the EP. We have started back in the studio working on the third song , along with guest members from John Fogerty's band and will be working around the holiday . I really like working with other artists and musicians I have worked with or admire. So many have stepped up and contributed generously with their talent. It would really help us, getting the music out if you could continue voting for "Stepping Out. It was exciting earlier in the week to see "Steppin Out , in the top 10 in both categories of Country Pop and Tradional. It seems to have dropped a bit , so hope you will continue to request our song being played on Number One so others get to hear it.
The song features vocals of Joanna Cotton who I first heard on the live Eric Church Cd and she came on board to record the song with us. We just recently submitted a tradition styled "Countryproof," featuring vocals by Hawkshaw Hawkins Jr and Aaron Bozwell. It was written based on the lifework of Hank Williams , Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. I hope you will check it out.

I want to thank you for you taking the time to support our new song “Steppin Out” sung by Joanna Cotton. It is part of a 4 song EP “Countryproof,” that we hope to have completed by the end of April.

Countryproof to me as a writer is all about kinship . Musicians singing, playing and sharing talents together on songs. This was the goal of the EP, to work with people we admire, and friends we have known musically , all coming together, for the best for each song.
