The Christian Music Industry should be very pleased Kevin P. Myles has chosen the genre of Christian music, since he obviously could have decided to perform classical Blues, pure Jazz, or any number of other types of music, and done any of them extremely well. Mr. Myles has a gentle but still powerful voice, and thankfully, although his band is also obviously talented, it never overpowers him. I believe Mr. Myles would have been very successful no matter what his choice of genre, but with his obvious Christian beliefs, he has found his home. I sincerely hope the Christian market supports him. He's a very talented man and his musical ability will take him as far as he's willing to go.

I love piano, and the first thing that grabbed me was the beautiful piano styling. GOD Cares is a beautiful inspirational tune with captivating and meaningful lyrics that hit right at the heart. "Release your faith and believe that our GOD is GREAT and worthy to be praised." The melody is so smooth and mellow and flows effortlessly, and Kevin's faith and passion are indeed obvious and are heard within his passionate vocals which resonate with clarity and conviction. Alpha, Omega, the Beginning and the End...yes, my brother, I hear you. This song blessed me today. I thank you.

This is an inspiring song full of positive and encouraging vocals. That being said, musically its smoking and hot, I would just suggestion to make the vocals more expanded. They sounded slightly dry in contrast to the musical supplement. Other than that, an excellent performance...kudos!!

All the parts of this song are on point, the intro with that rhodes and the oohs is a nice touch. Nice tone on the vocals when you come in on the the verse. Vibrato has been perfected, good job Kevin.

Nice Job , Relaxed groove, Such nice lcord structures too ! This is a very easy to listen to track. It feels natural and believably genuine. I appreciate where this is coming from ( nice). As a producer, I would like to have heard some more happenings with the lead vocals and some effects to enhance what was there already. I am honestly not biased when I hear a song from the hometown but I do love to recommend stuff that is good and when it's local so much the better. The range of textures in Kevin's vocal is wonderful, the piano well played, and the production above average. Every time I recommend a song, I think hard about what my review says about my musical discernment and this is a genre I grew up hearing, living a few miles from the heart of Motown and the gospel infusion into R&B could be heard on Sundays in church and strangely enough in the clubs downtown Detroit. It's not going to make the current pop charts and I could add to that, Thank God. The message today would not be tolerated. This song is worth a listen and a playlist add. Keep singing brother.

After listening to the Kevin P. Myles I was initially awe by the piano but when the vocal started I was floored by his smooth sounding falsetto voice afterwards I listen to to lyrics I was like this is a R/B song with inspirational words and thought this is what they should be playing on R/B on the radio instead of the stuff they play love making music does not have an effect on people of the new generation like it did on us but back to the review I do like how the songs builds to something if this gentleman wrote this song he is a good songwriter i will looking at trying to hear more him.
