About Kiko Perrone

Kiko plays eletric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic nylon gt. and he also sings, produces, arranges, writes songs and more.

Kiko Perrone started playing professionally in 1993 and has performed at the best venues in his home town.

In 1997 he started working with producers Tchorta and Guilherme Boratto.

They produced the talented Jamaican singer Gabrielle Harban and it was thanks to them that one of her songs was used in a famous Globo soap opera in Brazil "Love me Baby" (Borattos / Harban / Perrone) - novela 'era uma vez' 1998.

In 1999, Kiko Perrone also produced an album with Charles Negrita (who used to play with David Byrne). They made a CD called Batucada Brasileira, Vol. 1 (lable CPC-Umes, released in 2001), showcasing many beats, rhythms and melodies from all parts of Brazil. He co-wrote and arranged the songs along with Charles and Niki Fgueiredo.

In august of 2002 he joined the samba big band 'pau dagua' in sao paulo. this great group of musicians friends recorded an independent album that was released in april 2005, called 'viva a liberdade'.
