2008 was a great year for King of Trolls. Touring around festivals in Norway with a great live show and amazing costumes, made him a super star troll. In 2009 he will return with new songs and new sho In October of 2007 King of Trolls had written some songs for his first album. One of the songs was a majestic, rock and roll melody heavily influenced by Norwegian folklore describing the land in which the “King of Trolls” reigned. It was decided that the song, called "Far away", should be entered into a national song contest arranged by the Norwegian Broadcasting Network (NRK) During his 5 minutes on stage the troll impressed at least 1/3 of the Norwegian population with his charm, a great song, and with his spectacular show. The norwegians fell in love with the troll right there and then.

After his amazing performance on television the people could not get enough of this giant and his band. So in june 2008 the troll finished his first album " Far Away " with lots of catchy, great tunes inspired by classic rock of the 80's, and then he used the rest of the summer playing at festivals all over the country. 2008 was indeed a great year for the the King of Trolls.

In the beginning of 2009 King of Trolls will make and record some new songs, and he will not leave his studio in the mountains for many months, but if you are lucky, you might catch the giant
