Todd Jones(King TJ) is a young Chicago hip hop artist that is new to the scene. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago he shares music intrest such as: Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Nas, Common, Kanye West, Drake and Talib Kweli. Just to name a few. Todd Jones also developed a love for music listening to these artist and their stories. He started writing music at age 12. Jumping back and forward from hip hop to poetry by the age 23 he decided that hip hop would be his primary profession. Todd Jones is also a United States Marine and enjoys training and protecting his country. He says that sometimes it hard to choose between the two and if he could continue to do both then he would. He joined the Marines in 2008 and is currently still enlisted. His intrests in music stems from the old school style of hip hop, telling stories and capturing peoples thoughts and imagination. He likes to stay clear that his music is an extension of his life and does not provoke people to live the life style that he has.
