Klanghor is made up of Arturo Cepeda (guitar, piano), Javier Pino (bass), Manuel Garcia de Acilu (guitar, vocals) and Manuel Perez (drums). The group have been together since September 2002.

The name of the band comes from the Latin word clangor, which literally means “roar” or “noise”. This doesn’t have any relation to the kind of music that we play, we simply chose that word because we like how it sounds when pronounced. We added the “k” and the “h” to the original word for purely aesthetic reasons. This also means that the word is deprived of meaning, and becomes an abstract name (which from the beginning was our objective).

Our tastes and influences are very diverse. As for our style, we don’t feel we can define it; we think that the best way to do this is by letting those who listen to our music decide for themselves.

Klanghor’s existing recordings are the “Zamora” project (2005), the re-release of our first work “Furia '06” (2006), and “Dos caras” (2008), all of which were recorded by ourselves.
