About Taharqa

Laveil Durron Palmore, who performs as Taharqa aka( Lavitacuz,) was born in Joliet Illinois, on July 11, 1984. After writing stories and poetry as a child and a teenager, he decided write songs after being in a freestyle session and was getting complimented on his delivery lyricism and depicted image of life on the streets he grew up on. He rapped under the name Lavitcuz releasing a series of mix tapes, back in early 2000s which brought him a little attention he took a a Hiatus for some years to work on his craft returning back 2014 with his first album Layzal 1984 Which Layzal is Another name  for Allah, immortal, undying in Arabic in 2016 his second follow-up album Dark Times was released and in 2017 the cathedral third installment
4th album Return of a Pharoah will be release later this year
Taharqa lyrical delivery and poetic propolis is in the same bracket as Ice Cube Tupac Shakur Biggie Smalls Scarface Rakim Nas and other lyrical giants and legends in hip hop
