Songs about life and forever chasing after this God I thought I knew. I was the kid who knew 100 verses of the Bible before I was 5 years old. I was that kid in Sunday School who won all of the Sword-drills. :) Well, so you must understand that I had God pretty well all figured out until. . . . . My husband and I lost our first baby when I was 30 weeks pregnant. I was not even 21 yet. She was a beautiful little girl we named Kyla. Well, losing Kyla destroyed everything I ever thought I knew about God. It sent me into 10 years of seeking God intensely even though I grew scared of him and at times didn't want him at all. He freaked me out! I mean who is this powerful God? Why does he do the things he does? I wanted to hide from him, but I couldn't because he's truth. Well one night when I was 32 years old I dared to ask the questions I never dared to ask God before and the darkness broke - my heart changed - and I knew with all of my heart that this God who took my baby girl away from me loved me and it turns out He even wanted to save an arrogant "Christian" girl, too! These songs are what I am learning while I live. But one thing I know - that if you seek God with all of your heart He will appear to you. (Hosea 6:3) Go
