pretty good... very nice end.

I'd call this industrial downtempo. Very raw, and slowly builds into a really danceable groove. Dont hear much music like this anymore, its sort of fresh again. The only negative to me... is that the build takes so long and only happens then... maybe it just doesnt happen long enough... least a minute more. The slow build does have an appeal. Nice work.

fascinating noises

yes, you´re right, one feels tempted to skip the track during the intro. But as with most "Noise-arrangements" by Kruhft, that would be a shame, because the fascination evolves with time. It´s the structuring of time by computed randomness that makes it worth your while. In this case it´s enlightening to read the "About"-section, in case one wondered how these unusual arrangements got into this world. "Labels" does not sound good or bad, it´s got it´s own grammar, synthax, field of potential. Aleatoric, chaotic, charming, dazzling, one-of-a-kind, timeless. Just what the world needed.

a funny experience

I haven´t skipped... the beginning: I think this a "typical development" in instrumental-electronic music, but your music is unconventional, experimental, sometimes nearly Industrial. At the end some kind of melody, no: the "melody" is allready there, but I get it aware later, it´s a development! my mind adds some melodies, but I can´t catch them. You activate my subconcious mind, a funny experience... "Give me a reason to write another album". maybe I´ve got you wrong, but a proposal: try to create a mixture of a tune and a program, which uses AI, you hear it ones, but the next time it will sound different, it will ever sound different, never the same, always changing, is this possible? Another wish: I´ve lost the midi-data of 2 tunes, I always thought: Maybe someone could invent a program, which creates midi-data...

grimy tune!

pretty solid track -had me groovn, of course it really starts to jam towards the middle-end, and I will be putting this in my list of songs to chill out to, kind of a grimy down tempo in my opinion

unique levels of harmony!

Really like the shape of this track :) seemingly progressing. very cool electronica, nicely setup various levels of deepness, nice harmonies too! the created tunes are nicely evolving with the surrounding effects. Absolute pleasure to listen to. Great work man! At your first reviewed track I thought you over-compressed and sounds all distorted, but its actually created intentionally and it is a great experimental stuff. Would deserve an appreciation. Well done!

That was really something. Seems like something you would hear on very late night television show. Revenue? TV Placement? Never hurts to attempt. Hugh profit in sounds and mastering. Send Back the Listen Sometime.

A Review of ‘Labels’—Kruhft.

It sounds creative and well structured—interesting at the beginning in terms of unpredictable multi temporal pace and rhythmic layers—engaging industrial sonic texture—could have better quality for the sound recording—a few good selections of instrumental sound—could have better collection of sounding instruments—some effective melodic layers—though there are lack of direction, a purposeful and conclusive melodic line—perhaps better outcome if the length is reduced to half.

This song is driven by synths and drum beats initially and then adds some square synths. It has an interesting sound that is a bit industrial, with more atmosphere. The intro is a bit long for my taste and some listeners may not wait through the silence at the beginning. Usually there is silence at the end of a song, so that is worth noting. It has a bit of a jazz sound based on the tones used. I feel like this could benefit from having a clear chorus, but that is up to the artist as the song is experimental. Cool stuff!

Is that still ambient?

Hello there. This track sound more like industrial not ambient. Lack of deep, long elements of ambient. That Beat also is not so characteristic for ambient. As I know.. ambient music don't even need to have any melodic background. Here we can hear some loops. In my opinion this is not ambient. I don't clearly understand Your conception for this track. Maybe because in whole track sounds one loop.

Surprising

As the description so clearly states, "The opening might be enough to skip to the next track," but instead I skipped forward. This track does remind me of something I would hear in a film. Would be nice to add some delay to the intro to give it more atmosphere. And roll off some of the high end to take away some of the grittiness of the kick and distorted guitar. Dig the synth/piano .

Experimental

Sydney

The music's inside

Usually i don't like too much distorted sounds, but i found interesting to keep listening, even after the long introduction, the evolution of this track. Yes, it's "industrial" and "distorted", but you can feel the music inside with a subtle research of harmonies and dissonances. Have to admit that it is not my genre, but anyway i found a very good job so... my compliments!

Certainly different.

Different, for sure and could make good background music for tension rising in a movie or incidental music in a video game. The introduction was long and slightly irritating. If I was not listening with a view to giving feedback to assist you - I would have turned it off without continuing! The recording sounded as if fireworks were going off during the introduction which I assume was not the case. The intro is over a minute and a half long and I found it to be unsettling and uncomfortable. I would not have described this as "ambient" - it was anything but that. Film Music and Electronica - maybe. Some of the instrumentation was discordant and did not blend very well. Although I liked the blend of drum rhythms which was dynamic, different and a driving force, although there is a feel of spontaneity and improvised texture to the music with the additional instrumentation. Certainly different.

Random beats

Not sure where you're going with this track? There is no melody here, just a combination of various, almost random beats. It becomes a little annoying after a while. This song would benefit from a strong melody line and a hook.

Experimental

I have listened carefully several times to this song, and I must say that it can represent a sort of starting point for an electronic and experimental project. At the moment, it seems to be a draft score, growing with noise and ritmic patterns as long as the song goes on. It is not a music composition, but mostly an exercise on some unknown audio technology. Take your time to improve your ideas, guys. And thank you.

Slow but interesting!

Nice easy listening song. The middle and the end are the best. It built up nicely. I thought the intro was a little drawn out. You go to be careful with slow beginnings or intros because that is what causes people to hit stop. I like to try to limit intros to 5-10 seconds so I can get right into the meat of the song. Hope this helps.

The introduction of the work with that note in the form of obstinate to which the percussion is added is interesting. In the style typical of adding loops typical of modern electronic music (not the original Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schultze) Kruhft has a "noise" style deforming the sounds reminding us the industrial style. This mixture of sounds and styles reaches a climax and an abrupt ending (perhaps the only criticism) but it is a creative way to renew a style that since Robert Fripp and his Soundscapes, generated this form of composition used by new electronic music and all its Variants. Congratulations!!!

Very rare to hear this kind of sounds, but creativity is definitely needed in music, and I realize that not all listeners would like all kinds of music, so people all have different musical tastes, maybe there is a market for it.

This track is very chill and I really like the industrial undertones used after midway, it could be said this is very similar to my own music. I'd recommend this track to anyone! Well done!
