About K Shaw

K Shaw born Kenneth Shaw May 17th 1990, in Murfreesboro TN. I lived a lot of places in the south before coming to Maine when I was 6. I started expressing interest in music while I was in high school, it started off as something that was just for fun and to pass the time. Once I reached my senior year I made good friends with Mark Hilton. We started working on music together and formed a rap ground called (BIA) Brothers In Arms in 2007. What we thought would be something just to pass time, turned into what our life would revolve around. After high school Mark Hilton (Hilton) and I started writing and recording more and more, along with often partying. In 2009 we were offered the chance to perform in Downtown Lisbon for the opening of a new pizzeria. There we had the opportunity to showcase our talent to a wide array of people. Gaining the respect of old fans along with new. Hilton and I, would once again have their chance to gain exposure and show our talent in 2010. We were offered the chance to be at Battle Of The Bands in Portland, ME at The Big Easy. We had a packed house and had just released our album a month prior, titled "Doubt". The songs that we played became a great hit and secured us a spot in the finals. A couple months prior to the finals Hilton had moved away to Bakersfield, California. This could of been the end of the road for Battle Of The Bands and also BIA. Fortunately enough Hilton was able to get a flight in, just days before the show. At the show we played songs released from the album "Doubt" along with a couple songs that we had written from our solo albums Hilton "Unchained" and mine "Look To The Sky". At the show we rocked the house but at the end of the day we fell short of obtaining number 1. Although we had fun and had done great, we finished in the top 4. Since then Hilton and I continued to work on music. In 2012 Hilton returned back to Maine, he and I began workin on new material. We released several songs and a Single "Gotta Move On With Life". Hilton then moved to Lexington, KY in 2013 to help out his family and BIA had stopped producing music. Since then I have still been working on new material, still in pursuit of a music career. In August 2014, I went to NYC to record my new single "Dreamin'". I have high hopes for this song. Currently I am still working on new material, hoping to make it to the next level and spread my music throughout the world.
