Lady Trinity began her rap career at the young age of 9 after the death of her older brother, Marquis Gibson, AKA (expired link). Death. (expired link). Death was co-partner of a local Portland, Oregon Hip-Hop group entitled "The Regulators," which existed prior to the debut of the world renowned entities of Warren G and Nate Dog. (expired link). Death worked along side his best friend and brother for life Mr. Devil, formally known as (expired link). Homicidal during Portland's historic "PO Hop" era. In 1992, Marquis died from complications due to Sickle Cell. He was only 19. That day, Lady Trinity vowed that she would not let his music die, that it would live on through her, and that she would continue what her brother had started.
