Pine River, lyrics written by my good friend Wendy Kaneko and composed, sung, and all instruments played (except I added my pedal steel guitar) by another long-time friend Mitch Meyerson, is about a river with expansive healing properties, running behind our cottage on the property we own, deep in the woods. The river with the endless sound of easy-flowing rapids (what I call the river's perfect pitch) never freezes. The Pine River heals pain in battered, beat-up souls. I know I've experienced its healing properties for the past 8 years. The river, the enchanted forest my wife built (forest bathing), and the nature that surrounds us are the focus of my soon-to-be-released currently untitled book. The river represents neuroplasticity (rewiring the brain) at its finest. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you! Larry
